Yeah, that's a fun link. And yes, it's right. And yes, I know I'm vastly oversimplifying.
But considering the game we're playing, I'm going to call divine magic on most of the issues raised within that article. Because:
1. The Halcyon itself is an Artifact and can therefore just have the required capabilities built in.
2. If I actually went into that level of detail posts from me would turn out at pages in length and take far too much time for me to write.
It's not so much I can't be bothered as I just don't have the time. And I don't want to make each of my posts huge walls of text.
