Pssh. I've always
preferred my pancakes with nothing but a little butter on them. If they aren't good that way, get a better batter. Admittedly, I've never had Real Maple Syrup, but even if it's leagues better than whatever Aunt Jemima is oozing, I'd still probably consider it superfluous to the taste of a good pancake in and of itself. I'm more interested in applying maple syrup to my breakfast sausages or maybe some toast.
