Eh, it all came together. This is a rather perplexing situation isn't it? If we leave the WAY higher level and tracking-specialised team to find Ueki we can head back to town right now. Another mission failed, but with all the crazy-strong people in this forest, it might be what's safest to do with Yousuke at fractional health, Amon as always low on chakra and Kaede apparently out of commission. Still though, Amon might be annoyed with herself for not getting to investigate the red eyes. This Sanagi-crossing paths thing sure messed us up. If she didn't exist we might have had a normal straightforward mission for once and actually completed it. I guess we just got cocky after that last one - we managed to leave something on a high note for once so we started thinking like we were cosmically entitled to some degree of success and/or resolution in our endeavours
