I suppose when you have people that can blow up ountries with a handseal, life is exciting enough without the additional complication of unseen spirits and stuff. On the other hand, I remember one scene where Naruto visited a Shinto shrine or something, I think it was when he was travelling with Jiraiya to find Tsunade, but whatevs I guess that may be a more Fire Country thing.

I made a joke when i had Amon rifling through her possessions for identification that she had so much clutter in her bag she literally had no knowledge of why some things would be in her possession - specifically, a photograph with her when she was younger and Kai (or someone she mistook for Kai). That was mostly a joke since the whole point of the thing was that Amon herself had no explanation of why she seemed to be posing with the jounin, but just thought I'd say. No canon-breaking intended.
