They just plugged him with like fifteen arrows when he was already horribly injured and he wouldn't go down. Then they watched him lop off his own leg, take down their chief, and

staring at them.
Daring them, as his only remaining targets, to keep firing.
By this point, would you be thinking
any amount of arrows would really make a difference? Guy's invincible. I'm guessing they're just about to run.
