You know what I did to my RL group once when they kept on nagging me for a challenging combat? I gave them 2e Quicklings. It was funny. Quicklings get two full sets of actions.
I move up, I attack, I attack, I move away.
Or I cast a spell, I cast a spell, I use a wand, I use a wand.
It ended in three rounds. Then they started bitching that the combat was too hard. I enjoy poetic justice.
