I'd say that the horribly loud flying machines are going to get some curious local to investigate the area anyway so it probably doesn't matter a whole lot.

Not to mention that they've probably already seen our firepits. I mean we saw their lights right off the bat, and after all my express purpose is to get in touch with the natives so it's not like secrecy is going to hold for long anyway.

Plus we were ordered to build a secure base not a secret one.

On which note can some departments please throw up a fort or something. My personnel request was denied "until a more permanent base is established." And I need those specialists really badly.
