I can potentially teleport 7 squares at-will at the cost of not being able to use a shield; or I can teleport 3 squares at-will and keep the shield and even possibly do something about my terrible Fort. Thoughts?

I can take a +4 Incisive Dagger as my L20 item, buy the Frost Longsword and be basically broke. This with the Eladrin Ring of Passage would bump my Ethereal Stride to 7 squares. This has the benefit of allowing for safe ground movement if need be since I actually won't be using Frank much in combat since I can't teleport with him. Sorry Frank. It also precludes using even a light shield, since while yes, technically I can still hold it in my hand while using a light shield, I can't actually wield it to gain the property, and I'm pretty sure duct taping it to a heavy shield doesn't count for that either.

Alternately, I can take a +4 Frost Longsword as my L20 item and use a heavy shield like I have been using, stick with the 3-square teleport and potentially still be broke buying a Paragon Tier Belt of Vim to shore up my utterly pathetic Fort.
