I had a Genesis myself.

I'll agree that Sonic 2, 3, and 3+ Knuckles were among the best of the best. Shining Force 1 and 2 are also absolutely amazing games. Phantasy Star 4 is a gem too. Kid Chameleon was bizarre, and insanely difficult yet still fun somehow.
