The floating Island design: shouldn't whatever bridges span the islands be capable of supporting both large crowds of people, and people of a size and weight comprable to the titans? I'm going to assume they will want to do comerce and trade there at least some, not to mention the military needs of access to the other portals in an emergency.
Really I just want to make sure that we aren't confined to sending an army as a massive single file line across a rickety wood and rope bridge... that would not end well.
Also, is it feasible to have one massive Island in the center, and then any and all new portals made appear on new, smaller Islands that surround and connect to the main one? That way those spending the act to make a new portal can customize the island that apears in the nexus as well, and since everyone connects to the same cetral Island, we don't have to worry about traversing more than 2 bridges for any given starting point and destination.
In all honesty I do not remember many details of the original/current design, I may be restating what already is planned for all I know.
