I would think that "Oaken Roots Stance" would reset the bonus any time you moved from the spot (sorta like Dwarven Defender Defensive Stance), as it is, if you were in it before combat started it is always going to be at full power.

I'll word it so only rounds in an encounter count, and have it reset at the end of an encounter.
