Yeah, its not so simple as that, and the rules are easily forgettable.
Enough of that though, this thread ain't going off the deep end! ;)
(also just adjusted to specify that gilled creatures can breathe fogs and clouds in place of air... otherwise they wouldn't live too long flying high...)
