Default Re: Nexus Character Directory

KR
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Age: Physically 23, actually only 3.
Alignment: NE? LE? LN? TN? NG!? **** it, we can't keep track anymore. Note though, anyone who attempts to alignment scan her (and can get past the wards she put up to shield against alignment scanning) will get OVERWHELMING amounts of Evil. Like, Josef Mengele crossed Stalin crossed with Daft Punk. Times 10. Squared. Neutral on the Funky-Square axis, however.
Class: Soldier/Tech Specialist/Force Adept/Magic Scholar
Power Level: B+, though preparedness and technology have allowed her to kill bigger.

Appearance:
A woman completely un-intimidating and utterly non-threatening in size, measuring only 5'0" off the ground, and... well, that's about it, really. Everything else about this woman seems to spell your doom writ large. The fierceness of her East Asian features in particular would warn any intelligent onlooker of a woman used to getting her way, as would her supreme self-assuredness of being, her commanding presence capable of cowing even the bravest warrior faced with her fearsome countenance. Maybe it's this trait which let her, completely by accident, mind, become the official leader of WATCHTOWER... an organization which doesn't even have an official leader.
Not that she would have had it any other way. She's not about to let anybody else mess up her job... which they would have, on account of not being her. Oh, and in case the height threw you off and you're picturing some sort of Summer Glau-ish figure, some stick-thin waif fond of high-kicks and backward flips. Nope. Not only could KR snap your limbs like dry noodles (hyperbole... we think...), she actually looks it too. She's not a body-builder, by any means, but she's noticeably muscular, much more than your average lady.
Combined with her boyishly short spiky hair, and a slight wideness of the jaw, an unfortunate soul might mistake her for a man at a distance. That always ends well. KR's sensitive about these things. Also because I couldn't find a way to weave it into the narration she also has a jagged scar on the right side of her chin that reaches more or less to her cheek, and looks like it might have been caused by an abnormally large insect (how someone would be able to tell I have no idea).

Personality: Personality wise, KR is rather... inconstant. Being a 3 year old in a 20-something year old's body (long story*) tends to do that to you. Most of the time she likes to project an aura of stoicism and impartiality, but sometimes things just really get under her skin. Or excite her. Or make her sad. Utterly random things sometimes, as anyone who knows a 3 year old can attest. Prone to frequent, and unpredictable moodswings, they are.
Her predilection for MAD SCIENCE does not help in the slightest.

Equipment: Clothing-wise, KR's tastes run more towards the practical than the pretty, for both fighting in and building giant killer robots in. A grey tank-top, black pants and boots are most common. The boots are usually plain, combat type boots, but she also has a pair of fancier red dragonscale boots given to her as a gift, which she sometimes wears. Easily her most distinctive fashion choice, however, is a heavily enchanted red, military-style greatcoat. It's fireproof, waterproof, lightning proof, shrapnel proof, bulletproof (mostly), magicproof (kinda), laserproof (okay, not really), and has a variety of very inner large pockets in which she keeps her stuff. You have not known fear until you have seen an enraged, tiny Asian woman pull a rocket launcher out from the insides of her coat.

Important note: KR, never, ever wears a dress. Ever. No, not even then,

Sometimes she uses a sonic-screwdriver like LASER POINTER, or wears sunglasses with terminator-style readouts.

Her classic weapons, however, would either be a dual-barreled sniper rifle (the top barrel shoots bullets, the bottom barrel shot web shoots laser), or else an abnormally large blaster pistol, which vaguely resembles Deckard's gun from Blade Runner, if it had sex with Hellboy's Samaritan, then the resulting baby swallowed Seargent Shlock's Plasgun.

Abilities: KR is incredibly skilled with most firearms and projectile weapons, and uses them almost exclusively. She's also skilled at several hand-to-hand martial arts. She not really good with melee weapons however. Given a choice she'll usually go with a simple mace or axe that she can bash or chop with, rather than a sword which requires some modicum of skill to use. Hold out against this onslaught, and you've pretty much got her beaten in that regard. KR has some Force Powers from her stint in the SW universe, including the ability to shoot lightning from her fingertips all Sith style. Recently, she has taken up the study of magic, in order to further to research on the Nexus. Due to said research, she's quite adept at conjuration and divination, being able to do things in that field quite beyond her apparent skill (like teleporting, for example) by exploiting fluxes and fluctuations within the Nexus itself. Her mastery of other fields, however, is similar to what you would expect of a beginner wizard, her surprisingly quick grasp of the skill notwithstanding.

Backstory: Previously the main copy of the deadly assassin droid known as KR-15, this unit was transformed into an organic construct by Kaela. After a few events that I can't be bothered recounting, KR managed to 'acquire' a soul, and shot himself, getting someone else to Reincarnate him with a spell. The new body was female. It's all very interesting, and all on the various threads, so why not see for yourself? Founded WATCHTOWER, an alternative to GLoG and HALO for people who wish to stop the villains of the world from destroying it or conquering it or whatever, but don't necessarily wish to be nice to said villains. Or anyone else, really.

Miscellaneous: KR's birthday is on the 21st of September. Which makes her a Virgo, funnily enough.
