Now, admittedly, the Landsknecht won me two seperate wars (one involving the allied antagonists) and I haven't played with the pikemen of another Civ just yet so I have no comparison.
As for the Panzer... my first game is on the Marathon speed, so I just researched them last night before going to bed... And I've already conquered my entire continent...
