Grimmgang's approach goes unnoticed, but Trunk is spotted as soon as he reaches the edge of the trees, and the lizardfolk raises his club with a vicious grin.

He charges straight for Trunk, bringing the club down in a graceless smashing arc. His movement brings him close enough for Daiya to sense him, however, and Shard charges out of the undergrowth as well, only to crash bootlessly into the lizard's sturdy legs.
