    Alias: Grimaultrix or, more commonly, "Trix"

    Description: Trix is a strange, pale-skinned demon of a minor plane of one hell or other. She has black eyes with golden irises, and ears that perk up or droop down with her mood, similar to that of a cat or a donkey in the way that they swivel. She has small teeth, each filed to points, and a very long black tongue. Her facial features are capable of looking surprisingly soft and feminine despite this, and she is very expressive. Framing her face is short black hair, unkempt and untouched by any hairbrush. She has a long, thin tail.
    Despite her otherworldly appearance, her body is slender and her skin is smooth, and she is likely considered attractive depending on the viewer's personal preferences.

    Personality: Trix began her life in the Nexus as simply an incredibly awkward and nervous person. It was rare to find a moment when she wasn't considering all avenues of escape, even during conversation. It was never that she didn't like people, simply that events in her past had caused her to be distrustful of them.
    Ever since her fall to greed and subsequent self-redemption, however, she has seemed to mellow out considerably. While she is still largely nervous, it is nowhere near the level of twitchiness it used to be, and she seems to have come to terms with her own faults and strengths now. She has faced the worst parts of herself and won, and as such her outlook on many things has changed - some would say for the better.
    Trix enjoys the collection of magical items.

    Equipment: Trix wears a hat which also acts as a pocket dimension where she stores her things or uses as a makeshift and secret home. It serves as a small living room with a couch, a coffee table and a few cabinets. The hat itself seems to be able to change its colour and shape depending on the outfit she is wearing.

    She now has a high-tech prosthetic hand to replace the one she cut her fingers off of. It is a sleek white robotic hand, with black visible through the joints like some sort of iHand apple product or something. It uses impulses to replicate the wall-clinging effect the rest of her has on command.

    Abilities: She is capable of crawling on flat surfaces like a lizard, and her bones have a rubber-like quality.

    Consideration of the resistances and weaknesses of her bones:

    • Her bones are quite strong, denser than rubber despite their similar qualities. She is more resistant to blunt damage due to the strength of her bones, and edged weapons have greater difficulty in causing damage beyond them.
    • Her bones cannot break, or are at least so unlikely to that it is not a very worrying probability.
    • If falling from a great height, she will likely bounce when she hits the bottom, suffering mostly internal injuries, cuts and bruises. This depends on the distance.
    • Due to having to compensate for the heaviness of her bones growing up, she is actually quite strong. Because of her half-demon heritage, her muscles appear much weaker than they are, making her seem thin and light when she's actually strong and heavy. Having always grown up like this, she does not notice.

    Through joining LANTERN as a spy, she gained the powers of an orange LANTERN including flight, creating small energy constructs, and an unfortunate intense hunger - however she no longer has these powers after this post.

    Backstory: It's ever unclear what events caused Trix to run away from her family in Underside - the only information that one might ever get from her is sparing at best, usually only vague references to her late eldest brother and some tragedy that befell him.

    Try not to think too hard about that one.

    Extra Fact: Trix has a residual magic allergy, which was amplified when she was wearing the Orange Lantern ring, but returned to being latent again when it was forcibly removed from her person. Usually, she doesn't even feel its effects unless physically blasted by a good deal of magical energy - but it was enough to keep her from becoming a mage herself. Her allergic reaction on its own is not fatal, and it takes a very strong and focused magic to make it more than an itch.

    Trix's blood is not red, but rather white.

    Description: Mousey, at first glance. Extremely tough, though. She looks like the kind of person who's been through hell and back and survived, but only just. Wears shorts, a t-shirt, and combat boots. Also, an extremely old and beat up jacket, riddled with pockets containing all sorts of relics of her zombie-hunting days. She has rather short, spiky hair.
    Personality: Chumley is quiet. A bit inquisitive, but still cautious. She's quite pessimistic, nihilistic; shooting your family after they've been infected by zombies will do that to you.
    Equipment: A vast array of weapons, most of which reside in her room above Trog's. She always carries her crowbar with her, though.
    Abilities: Chumley is a mundane human. She's good at breaking things with crowbars, being dead silent, and running away, but not much else.
    Backstory: Chumley was one of the last survivors of her zombie-infested world. One day, she found herself in Nexus, in the distant village of Duskgrove. Since then, she's attempted to adjust to life without the constant threat of you and your loved ones getting eaten.

    Askepios: Ilyena's AI. Jaw-droppingly intelligent and advanced, allows him to access his more powerful spells. Permenantly installed at WATCHTOWER and NOIR. Can be temporarily installed elsewhere.

    The Moff: Pseudo-human rogue. High ranking AMENite. Quite mad; even more insane clones pop up once in a while.

    D7: A clone of The Moff. Doesn't see much undeadtime these days. 14 year old abomination brat.

    Abilities: Can control invertebrates and use them as spies. Has a giant centipede familiar. Low level healing ability.

    Backstory: A girl called Nell was raised as a slave in a wealthy household in the city. She doesn't remember much of her family besides fuzzy images, but she thinks her mother may have been a slave as well. Nell's owners had a daughter named Lauretta who was Nell's age, and Nell was given some education to make her more of a useful companion to Lauretta. In addition to her role as Lauretta's lady's maid, she also performed household tasks such as sewing and cooking, and as she grew older, was elevated to the status of a household concubine.

    During the Ebonocalypse, the whispers of the Neverborn killed Lauretta and her family, and most of the household servants. Nell survived and ran out into the streets, nearly driven mad, before Terrowin and the other priests of Dalachrech rescued her.

    When she recovered from the trauma, she made the decision to take Lauretta's name and status, and to join the cult of Dalachrech as a priestess. Her devotion to Dalachrech is sincere, and she is extremely loyal to the High Priest Terrowin. She also has developed feelings for him, but her own insecurity about her hidden identity has kept her from revealing them.

    So far, the only 'person' to whom she's revealed the truth about her past is Dalachrech, in prayer. Though it is possible that there are people in the city who still remember her as Nell.

    Faction Profile: Goblins of Underside

    Leader: Goldbaka Flatnose has been chosen as the Big Boss of the Khrazkaiada Colony. Her adjutant is Gratznuk Stonehead. He severs as her right hand and leader of the military.
    General Information: The goblins, having been living in Inside for some time, now moved to the eastern caverns of Underside. They built a colony from scratch there and plan to make an impact on the underground world. Thousands of goblins live or plan to live there.
    Equipment and Resources: The goblins have entrenched themselves in the eastern tunnels and estabilished a functioning infrastructure. The colony is heavily industrial and the goblins keep producing various machines. They have a limited military force, mostly composed of mercenaries, but are working on expanding it. A few species of underground animals are kept in the colony.
    Goals: Now that they've estabilished the colony, the goblins plan on making sure noone troubles them and, perhaps, becoming an important political force in the Underside.

    Racial Description:

    Since the goblins inhabiting Underside differ somewhat from other goblins that may be encountered in the Nexus, here's a description of their racial traits:
    Origins: The goblins of Underside come from a small, gloomy, unnamed world inhabited by several other sentient races and characterized by things like lack of gods - not that the mortals are aware that their prayers go essentially unheard - low level of magic and the general low profile of supernatural occurences.
    On that world, they inhabit underground caves in most mountain ranges. However, some claim that they actually evolved on the plains before moving underground. More on that later.
    Physical description: Those goblins are small - very rarely reaching 130 centimeters or more. Their bodies are out of proportion when compared to humans; their legs are short but their feat large and their arms are too long compared to their bodies. Their skin can have various shades of brown and gray - it seems to depend on the enviroment. The gray color is more prevalent in colonies deeper underground that have less contact with the surface. The goblins' eyes are red, orange, yellow or anything in between. Their pupils are narrow and cat-like; they widen in the dark. As a result, they have very good darkvision - they'e able to see perfectly in dim light and get by in total darkness. However, it also renders them vulnerable to bright light.
    Probably the most distinguishing feature of the goblins are, of course, their ears and teeth. Their ears are quite big indeed, taking many shapes. Naturally, it gives them excellent hearing. As for the teeth, they're all pointy and sharp to a varying degree. All goblins have long fangs in their lower jaws that stick from under their lower lips.
    Psychological traits: As with most sentient species, it's not as easy as it seems to pin some types of behavior on goblins. In general, however, goblins tend to have a keen survival instinct - as in, they're cowards - and a pack instinct - they tend to stick to their own and become nervous when separated from other goblins among non-goblins. When among their own, however, they have a tendency to bicker and argue a lot, often just for the sake of arguing. Finally, goblins tend to be quite clever and intelligent.
    Biology: Goblins have some biological traits that deserve mentioning. First, they're highly resistant to toxins, as a result of their diet. Furthermore, they have two livers.
    Reproduction: Goblins reproduce like all other humanoid races. Their rate of reproduction is fairly quick - pregnancy lasts eight months and twins or even triplets are common. They can interbreed with their cousins, hobgoblins, giving life to hybrids known as hoblins. However, such unions are rare and have little chance of producing a child, so hoblins are uncommon.
    History: Like with most sentient species on their homeworld, the origins of the goblin race are lost in the murky depths of history. As far as goblins are concerned, they have always lived underground, but it's not true, as some realize - they used to live on the plains and be one race with the hobgoblins, their bigger and more savage cousins. As some point, the proto-goblin race split into two subraces and the small, nocturnal one that would later become known as goblins left for the mountains. The relation of the both races to orcs, who're also a goblinoid race, is unknown.
    The goblins were relatively unimportant race for much of their earlier history; overlooked by everyone but the dwarves. This changed when the humans from the central plains spread across the continent and subjugated all cultures they came across, human and non-human alike. Most goblin territories were placed uner the rule of the newfounded Empire of Mankind and while all non-humans were downtrodden there, goblinoids had it even worse - hobgoblins and orcs were hunted like animals and goblins were treated like vermin or slaves.
    When the Empire of Mankind was crumbling and cracking around the edges, various goblin tribes under their rule rebelled, like other subjutaged cultures. It got especially bad in the northern territories, where goblins, led by a visionary leader, joined the genocide of Imperial citizens later known as the Harrying of the North.
    After the Empire crumbled and fell, the goblins began rapid expansion, settling new territories and estabilishing full-fledged nations. Since then, they've become major forces in some regions, especially the north.
    Culture: Goblin cultures are, as is natural, shaped by their experiences and environment. On the whole, they tend to be insular and shut-in, not interacting with othr species more than it's necessary. Goblins also tend to be convervative, prudish and patriarchal.
    As for administration, the goblins gather in colonies, which are somewhere between city-states and nations. A colony is a network of caves and tunnels stretching under one or moe mountains.
    Racial relations: Various sentient races of the goblins' homeworld aren't exactly fond of each other, and the goblins are no different. They bear a grudge against the humans for the Empire, like other non-humans. They have a vitrolic, long-lasting and occasionally bloody feud with the dwarves that most likely started as a simple conflict over resources. They have an enimity with fey, partly due to their lack of respect for natural resources and partly due to some other, strange reasons, which can lead to conflict with elves depending on the deals and bargains a particular group of elves has with the local elemental spirits.
    Technology: During the last few centuries, the goblins have made rapid technological progress, becoming the most technologically advanced race of their homeworld, which is on the whole rather low-tech. They seem to have a natural knack for engineering, mechanics and alchemy. They especially like all kinds of incendiaries and explosives. Big goblin colonies tend to be heavily industrialized.
    Religion: There are two major goblin religions - the faith in Lord Below and in the Earth Queen.
    The religion of Lord Below is older, dating back to the days of the Empire. Lord Below is worshipped as the overlord of the goblin race and master of deep, dark places. He's silent, domineering and merciless.
    Earth Queen is very different - she's revered as a benevolent mother, nurturing her goblin children on her earthly womb.
    Apart from that, there are two minor goblin gods: Deruskar, who is a trickster god of wealth and Varmapora, a spider-goddess of death. Some goblins incorportate them into the worship of one of the two major deities.
    Notable goblins: Apart from the leaders of the Underside Colony, two notable goblina come from that group - Dipsnig Razortooth, the leader of NO and Reelshka Trollfinger, a member of the GLoG council. Lord Magtok is rumored to have goblin ancestry... but some say those are just vile rumors spready by aforementioned Razortooth.

    Description: A young, lithe woman. She has cerulean hair that is spiky and long, to her waist. Her piercing dark blue eyes seem to be both innocent and intense. She normally wears a loose white top and tight blue pants, with brown pointed shoes.
    Personality: Kind of dependent on Genkai, but tries to strike out on her own a lot. Headstrong but calculating sometimes, and pretty chaotic emotionally. Angers easily, etc.
    Equipment: A bag of holding with a lot of mundane things, a lot of spell components and some scrolls, a journal. She carries a quarterstaff with a small blue diagonal gem in it.
    Abilities: She's a sorceress so she can cast magic, usually pretty simple stuff but can pull a big one out when she needs to. Chaotic magic that she can't control. She's an ok thief and lockpick, rogue like sort of skills.
    Backstory: Coming later~
    Miscellaneous: A cat! named Quis, short for Quis custodiet ipsos custodes. She's white and black. the markings seem to change every time you look at her, and Jakata tries to predict the future based on this but it hardly ever works.

    Sorry for the relative seriousness of this character - but she's a pet fave of mine and I couldn't bear to change anything about her.

    Description: Since I do not think I could adequately describe Kate's outfit, I will simply give you a picture of her.

    Without her mask, Katherine is a physically fit woman with eyes which appear of a bright orange colour. Her hair is of a pale, pumpkin hue and flows in waves and curls to just between her shoulder blades.

    Equipment: Kate wears some loose steampunk technology, hand-built from the scraps of the robots from her homeworld. As well as offering minor protection, it seems to grant her enhanced speed. She has two wicked, curved daggers that are enchanted to return to her hands if thrown, and compact repair supplies in pouches at her belt.

    Abilities: With her armour pieces, she is granted enhanced speed, especially her almost superhuman running speed. Without, she posseses incredible reflexive abilities and an uncanny danger-sense. She fights fast, with the flourish of finesse about each of her arcing and twirling blows. She is good at survival with very little resources, due to her experiences on her homeworld. Without her weapons, she is still a potent martial combatant.

    Her world was ruled by a tyrant king, a man who had created clockwork machines to enforce his rule and enhance his own strength. The people were too weak to stand against him, but her brother tried anyways. Her older brother had taken the place of their long-absent parents, keeping her safe as they fled from the machines. He openly defied the king's rule, and as a result, they were hunted. One night when she was 16, he roused Kate from her sleep and told her they had to go. He quickly got her through the secret door in their hideaway, told her to run, and pushed a crate over top the trap door.

    He was killed. In her grief and rage, Kate was left to fend for herself, scrounging bits of old machine parts she could find. Years of running and hiding, years of fighting later, and at the age of 19 she became the mysterious Drifter. A renegade, fighting for the freedom of the common man. She was dangerous to the king, and each day she fought and survived his ambushes. Soon, a resistance was built around the idolization of this mysterious figure she had become, and the people began to fight back along side her. Things were looking hopeful.

    But looks can be deceiving. A being known simply as the Devourer had come to their world, eating away at the life essence it provided. Unable to allow anything - man or monster - to threaten her world, The Drifter bravely fought it alone, and after a long and hopeless battle she was almost slain - until the forces of the king arrived. He ordered them to fire, and shots rang through the air - but she was not the target. The king and his machines had put aside their feud with her, at least for now, as he helped her to her feet and assured her that he did not want to see his world devoured any more than she did.

    The battle raged longer and in a last-ditch attempt to slay the beast, The King, with his enhanced strength, lifted The Drifter and launched her high into the air towards the creature before them. In an incredible display of willpower, she withstood its attacks, climbing it until she reached its weak point and stabbed it there in the hopes of destroying it forever.

    And it was slain - but at a cost. In its death throes, it seemed to move in on itself, sucking her into a swirling vortex even as her reality shattered around her. The dimension had been lost - the world, lost. Fallen through the cracks of space-time and scattered far away. But she was not slain, and when her eyes reopened she found herself in a strange reality. Soon, there was only one thought ringing clear through her mess of emotions:

    I've already lost one world, I won't lose another. I will fight the evil here no matter the cost.



    Miscellaneous: She is faster than she is strong, but she's not weak. However, she has a strong weakness to magical attacks (due to having no ranged abilities, and not because of any magical allergy) and battles with mages or beings with otherwise strong ranged capabilities can wind down to a game of 'Who gets tired first?'.

    Alignment: Tries to be good, but other people sneaking around and programming him can be a real bear to deal with.
    Class/Profession: Pathfinder droids were invented in the year 2201 to replace rogues for mages who wanted to work alone. They could also be outfitted as emergency operators (bye-bye cleric!) and combat drones (bye-bye fighter!). By the year 2235, everyone was either an arcane caster or working for one.
    Power rating: Safety overrides keep it at a 3, but it can juiced up to anything by a good programmer.
    Description: A mostly nondescript, rusted sphere about the size of a basketball made of blue-gray metal plates (the same color as K-9 from Doctor Who) floating about a meter and a half above the ground. A single round black lens on the front serves as an eye. One spindly robotic arm extends down about two feet from the middles of the bottom of the sphere, though it can be extended or shortened, and up to five can be used at once, each with a plethora of tools. Screens, scanners, extra eyes, and random deity knows what can be folded out of the sphere. It likes to wear a battered, dark green wizard hat it's kindest owner wore and defends it viciously. Has a voice like K-9 from Doctor Who
    Personality:Depends on the programming, but is currently calm and entirely unsure of what to do. The last owner somehow programmed a shaky sentience into it, and it's very...confused. It tries to be free and make its own choices like its master told it to, but still wants to help people. Doing both without seeming too careless or too subservient often makes decision making last anywhere from a minute to an hour. He also has to file certain things away in different memory cards he stores elsewhere via a multitude of magical objects and spells so that he can learn and think without overloading his hard drive.
    Equipment:Imagine someone took a college computer lab, chemistry class, physics class, and work shop, added a bunch of tech from the next 200 years of progression, rolled it into a basketball sized package, and made it capable of doing pretty much anything it's programmed to do and given tools for.
    Abilities: The aforementioned, as well any magic a skilled technomage programs into it.
    Background: Oregon was just another robot, but it went through an extensive array of wizard owners (and time! yay anomaly!) who ranged from good to bad to ingenious to criminally insane. Each has left his or her own mark somewhere deep within Oregon's programming. Its favorite was a kind gnome named Stunditt, who gave Oregon the hat and unfortunately, was killed when a spell to travel dimensions backfired and shot Oregon through time. Its least favorite? Let's just say that a certain Roderic Stillwater is lucky he died before Oregon got free choice.

    Personality: Opportunistic and rather self-serving, but also fairly friendly and pro-active. Seems to enjoy violence, and yet avoids it whenever possible. Her personality varies wildly with her mood, sometimes even mid-conversation.
    Equipment: A warm dark green cloak, some black clothing including a tight bodice and some tighter pants, two boots, two arm braces, a curved knife, a bow and a few arrows are all the possessions you can expect to find on her at any given time. Everything else, she probably just stole, unless noted below.
    Equipment gained IC: Pale yellow fancy dress, Skinny jeans, Black top, Pale green sweater.
    Abilities: Quick but fragile would probably sum her up very easily. In a fight, she hopes to dodge long enough to either run away or stab you in the face, then steal your stuff, then run away. Capable of climbing with modest ease, and quite good at moving silently, her life as a thief has shaped her up till now.
    Backstory: Growing up in a massive city simply called "The City", Atoya was a fairly normal orphaned girl, exploring the city at nights, climbing buildings, running on rooftops. When she was fifteen, she fell ill, and the cost of her medicine drove her to use her talents and innocent looks to steal from those better off than her. Now, shaped by four years of theivery, she lives off of stealing, even enjoying it.

    Maybe only pixies act like that.
    Equipment: Flight goggles, green scarf, peace necklace, several vials of something that might have once contained milk or the colour purple, seventies and sixties era clothing, coinage of various dates and countries of origin, basic tools of tea-making, alchemy and car fixing, a mood ring and a bouncing ball. Unfortunately lost the lava lamp, was too heavy to haul around anyway.
    Abilities: As all pixies of Lewis' home universe, Lewis has the ability to fly, rather well actually, and adept at minor magic. Lewis possesses the natural abilities to create minor illusions and bless objects and areas, be it in making old car outspeed a new racecar or just adding pine scent. Illusions and mind altering magic has a harder time affecting Lewis and other pixies as their minds are far more synchronised with magic itself, this unfortunately also makes the more physical magic all that more painful as well.
    There are few things beyond sorcery itself that do any more harm to a pixie than to any other being but there are some. Holy water or other repellent made by one of strong faith are among the most potent but an item of near-pure iron is not high on Lewis' wish list. Interestingly, divine magic is not required for the faith, merely the strong conviction that it will work.
    Backstory: Lewis originates in a world much like the one of Northport but in this one there was no friendly skeleton bartender and the troll stayed under the bridge. This was a fine and dandy world until suddenly while flying around over the waters of the Caribbean during the summer of 1974 a storm suddenly appeared out of the psychedelic nowhere! And before Lewis knew better, it had placed the Pixie in this strange new land where anything form any world walks the land. It took about three hours for Lewis to notice the difference as his own world already had zombies, aliens, the Beatles and Gremlins aplenty.
    Miscellaneous: Acquired boots of invisibility and a colour-changing cloak during the Winter holidays.

He also has a large pentacle tattoo on his back. There is a pentagram carved into his right wrist and lined with root: Banishment, Object 535 of 2538.
    Equipment: He has a cloak/robe with tons of pockets. Tons. In his pockets, he keeps various semi-magical items. Things like silver, vials of water and blood, holy symbols, silver sickles, an entire paint set, an ipod, cigarettes, many incenses, inks, tea leaves, ashes, guano, dirt, bottled gasses, a lighter, and tons of other various stuff. Around his neck hangs various amulets for luck, like a small silver horseshoe, rabbit jackalope's foot, four leaf clover set in amber, and a couple of pentacles also made of silver.

    Abilities: His powers entirely consist of summoning creatures from other planes/worlds to fight for him. He uses pentacles to bind and control them. He generally summons demons, devils, and elementals, though other creatures, like fey things and deceased spirits, are controllable. Demons and devils, once summoned in a perfect pentacle, can be controlled no matter what and must follow his orders entirely. Elementals are less bound by his manner of summoning unless he shackles them somehow. To control them, he must exert his will over there's. This usually means he can't summon more than one at a time, or control really powerful ones.

    He has two personal "imps" serving under him at all times. One is called Grizkrilf, which looks like a miniature rotting and ugly dragon. It is bound to the pentacle tattooed onto his left hand (and will be freed if the tattoo is destroyed), and has standing orders to sit on his shoulder to guard him and warn him about any possible magical threats. His other imp, Gvirlir, is bound to his right hand and looks like a tiny dirty green human with wings and horns. It has orders to scout around new places and fetch (steal) useful things for him. Both are always invisible.

    Banishment, Object 535 of 2538, allows him to banish anyone (except himself) to Hell or Heaven, but he shouldn't abuse his power. It also means that when he dies, he will become a Shade and a Tree, the Holder of Banishment for another Seeker to eventually free.

    Trade, Object 195 of 2538. The Coin looks like any other coin of the country you are in (a dollar, a pound, a Euro) but the markings on it are of an unknown civilization, and the face it bears is that of an elven creature. When placed under the tongue it gives the gift of languages. The Coin is said to also grant the gift of understanding the languages of animals as well as humans. The Coin is even able to translate written languages, including ciphers. The language of the Objects themselves is immune to the Coin. The Coin is Object 195 of 538. Be prepared to pay the price for your prize.

His tail is long, ropy, and mostly hairless. He has scars from the diseases he handled when he was a cultist. He usually wears white hooded robes that cover most of his body and his face except for his snout. He rarely wears shoes, but when he does, their high black boots with wide bottoms to fit his rat feet. The robe has a sickly green embroidered line on it. He wears several silvery necklace chains with tiny meteorites wrapped in green fire around his neck.
    Personality: He tries to be good, but he has a tendency to be greedy and a coward. He is very violent in battle, and you really shouldn't want mercy from him, because it usually takes the form of leaving you bleeding on the ground next to a broken vial of 'magic anthrax'.
    Equipment: A pistol that looks like a scoped, green and gray gorgon pistol (gear of war 2) and several scary looking medical tools.
    Abilities: Very good aim and sneakyness, and a great immune system, but he usually avoids combat and makes for a bad meat shield.
    Backstory: Born in a disgusting underground hive like every other Skavid. Was part of a disease cult until he realized just how painful the diseases were to get (his scars) and decided to be a doctor. He's working his way up the ladder as a paramedic, because he doesn't really understand how the system works.

He has brown hair, hazel eyes, and light skin, and goes clean-shaved most of the time. He wears either an ISF dress uniform, EvA-2 Light Power Armor, or, occasionally, casual clothing (but such instances are rare).
    Personality: Alexander is, to most who meet him, quite a friendly man, who likes to get to know those who he commands. He is quite open to those he trusts, and when outside a combat situation, he gives off the impression of a Gentle Giant. In combat or when angered, however, he turns quite cold, focusing on the mission at hand.
    Equipment: Alexander, in combat, carries a standard ISF load-out, using the EvA-2 and an EvR-1 Rifle. He also, however, carries an M90 CAWS, which he uses in preference to the EvR-2 in close quarters.
    Abilities: Alexander, quite simply, is one of the best men in the ISF at CQB (close-quarters battle). He is not so much a good marksman, but is good at hand-to-hand combat, and close-range firefights, as well as tactics in close quarters combat. No magical abilities to speak of.

    Power Rating: I dunno. He's only 15, and relatively unprotected, but he's surprisingly vicious, doesn't feel pain caused by outside sources, and can read minds.
    Description: A ginger with hair that's usually well kept and bronze glasses. His eyes are rather large, and he is usually grinning. The below picture is his outer clothing, but he doesn't always wear his jacket and has a variety of earthy colored t-shirts with witty sayings on them. He also refuses to wear shorts other than surf shorts. He has a smirky smile, wears a golden ring with a lantern arcon circling a victorian era street lamp with emeralds set in to the lantern arcon's center. Has a black headband given to him by Charity Evans that blocks out psychic stuff, a leather conjuration magic enhancing glove given to him by Adele, and a holy bowie knife given to him by Vasilisa.

    Personality: He tries a little too hard to be witty. Loves art and magic in all their forms (except necromancy, o' course). Loves food and drink and knowledge and stuff like that, has a horrible fear of the undead and anything small enough to crawl on him without him noticing and the venom to kill him. Likes the color green. VERY VENGEFUL. VERY LOYAL.
    Equipment: School stuff and craploads of snacks and regeants. Also, a bottle that can pour any drink and 2 steins that maintain the perfect temperature for whatever drink within. Headband that negates psychic activity caused by him or used against him, holy bowie knife, and glove that empowers his conjuration spells.
    Abilities: Relatively skilled empath and arcanist.
    Backstory: Garrett is the son of Simon and Laura Everett, knights in the arcane Order of the Lantern, and the great great grandson of the infamous mephit trickster Cole the Unburdened. Being the son of two politically important figures in a society of wizards that's made an enemy of just about anyone who would abuse knowledge has led to an...interesting life. Assassination attempts, training accidents, the death of his sister Gwynneth at the hands of a starving vampire, all of these have been wiped from his mind or suppressed by a variety of charms, shrinks, and clubs to the head. Unfortunately, his abilities as an empath and a conjurer have somewhat weakened these mental 'shields'. Luckily, he still refuses to let any of the stuff he can remember get him down. He contracted a disease that causes brain hemorrhaging, but has a steady supply of iodine to treat it. A training 'accident' at his old school resulted in nerve damage, so he can't feel any pain or really much of anything else caused by touch. He knows his way around a drink thanks to several dwarven bodyguards he had when he was younger.
    Thanks to Ghar, he's now regained many of his memories, and they're a lot worse than previously thought. He went on a quest to kill the vampire who killed his sister, but was almost killed twice in the process.
    He is now a knight-errant in the Order of the Lantern, and should be receiving his commissioned armor VERY soon. He also has an awesome ring!
    Miscellaneous: Has a pet Durgit (frog head, lion mane and body, iguana legs and tail) that may or may not be able to cast spells.

    Description: He has the deathly pale skin and red eyes typical of vampires. His fangs are of an average length, usually barely noticeable. His long, dark hair is pulled back in a tight braid. He can usually be found to be wearing a black suit and tie, and he pulls it off perfectly. He stands about six feet tall. He has an incredible smile, which he shows off often.

    Personality: Gabriel is always sure of himself and confident that everything will go his way. The best word to describe him is charming. He is always making friends and allies, or at least enamoring his enemies to him. He is always well spoken.

    Equipment:
    - Glasses with red lenses and silver frames. (Hardly ever wears)
    - One of those pretentious bluetooth ear phones.
    - A set of bat shaped platinum cufflinks.

    Abilities: He is an accomplished mind mage. His greatest talent is in enamoring people to him, either by making them more comfortable in his presence or manipulating their opinions subtly.
    His powers can be more combat oriented as well. He can directly attack others' minds and sometimes controlling them. He is also capable of destroying a weak willed person's mind completely, but he will almost never attempt this, as the consequences tend to be grave if he fails.
    He's also an excellent dancer. Is so an ability.

    ~Can turn into a bat, a wolf, or a cloud of smoke at will.
    ~Has unnatural strength that exceeds that of a normal man.
    ~Can regenerate, but at a slow pace.
    ~Can suck the blood of the living by biting them, and if he drains most of their blood they will be turned into a vampire.
    ~Can hypnotize someone if that person is weak minded enough, but only if he is able to stare them directly in the eye for about 3 seconds.
    Weaknesses
    ~Is allergic to garlic. It weakens him and makes him vomit. It won't kill him.
    ~When exposed to the sun, she is weakened to a less than human level.
    ~Burns when in contact with anything holy. Only if there is a particularly strong belief in it that is close-by, so he's not going to be harmed by the "holy vampire cloak" of "hocus pocus religion on the other side of the world".
    ~Is paralyzed if a piece of wood (stake or not) goes through his heart. It won't kill him, but he won't be able to move, think, or do anything at all until some nice (re; stupid) passerby removes it.
    ~Can't cross running water.
    ~Can't enter a home uninvited.

    Backstory: Ghar took Gabriel from his father at a young age. He did so to protect Gabriel, who's father was bloodthirsty. He grew up with Ghar's other adopted child, Serena, and she is like a sister to him in everything but blood.

    When he was still a young man and before he was turned, Gabriel fell in love with a woman. They were together for months before they arranged to get married. The night before their wedding she stuck a knife in his back, right through his heart. He fled the room, his life fading quickly. A friend of his, a vampire, came across him and saved his life, by turning him. He immediately went back to his so called love and crushed her mind. Before she died however he saw that someone had corrupted her mind, had compelled her to try and kill him. In a rage he confronted his would be killer and slowly picked apart his mind. Since then he hasn't been able to get truly emotionally attached to any woman. Only Ghar, Serena, and Gabriel's biological father know the specific of the incident.

    Gabriel was considered a rebel in his old home of Gul-Thadar, a vampire city-state. He vehemently opposed the high counsel’s old fashion style of leadership. He leaped at the opportunity to leave his home and accompany Serena to the Nexus when Nite called her there. His goal is to establish a 'utopia' in the Nexus, but no one is sure what that entails.

    Description: His skin reflects his drow nature, but is considerably more pale then your average drow. His skin is wrinkled, but in a wizened way around the eyes, mouth, and forehead. His eyes are a bright, blood red, and give the impression that they don't miss much. His hair is bone white and he lets it flow freely. His fangs are quite long and are distinctly noticeable. He will always be found wearing a long black robe. Ghar is capable of taking many forms, but this is his preferred form. The on he had in his mortal life.

    Personality: The best way to describe Ghar is that he is old. Not old as in feeble old, but old as in death was too afraid to pick him up. He is either silent and brooding, and all around uncomfortable to be with, or he is grumpy and quick to berate those who make mistakes. Commonly it is a blend of the two, exemplified by his treatment of, well, everyone. Above all he projects an aura of confidence and power. He often won't bother confronting those he deems weak or fools, so he largely avoids combat. He's driven by a desire to learn, primarily this involves learning more about magic. Power is also a motivator, but he regularly denies that. Ghar will do anything to get what he wants. A description, courtesy of Crae.

    Equipment:
    - A spell book, bound in the skin of flayed demons. No longer needed, but it's a memento of his mortal life he is reluctant to abandon.

    Abilities: He is skilled in every form of magic, perhaps a master in most. Usually he won't have a high number of combat spells prepared in any given day. He is also a powerful mind mage, and won't usually have trouble breaking through anybody's mental resistance.

    Backstory: His backstory in full would far exceed the character limit. One of the founding members of Gul-Thadar, and already old at that point, he never had any desire to rule. He was more than happy to leave his duties to the other founders. He was content to study magic in his position as High Arch-Magi. He adopted both Serena and Gabriel when they were quite young. Nite, Adele, and Gabriel all studied under them, and he has a soft spot for them in his cold, blackened heart. He left with Gabriel for two reasons. One he grew bored of the city, and boredom leads to madness at his age.

    Description: Adele was once a very pretty young girl, but when she was turned she became quite frightening. Even more so because it is clear what she used to look like. Her skin is deathly pale and her sunken eyes are pure red, even the whites. Each and every tooth in her mouth is pointed, making her unable to look anything but ferocious. Her hair is long and black. She wears the clothing she was turned in. A knee length brown skirt and a yellow t-shirt. Both bloodstained.

    Personality: Adele is slightly unhinged following her turning after the emotional trauma of witnessing her father's murder. She's susceptible to giving into her urges to feed, often becoming downright feral. She's quick to anger and is filled with a desire to avenge her father.

    Equipment:
    - A pretty necklace with a teardrop garnet. It was a gift from her father.

    Abilities: Adele's vampiric abilities are more potent than your average vampire.

    Strengths
    ~Can turn into a swarm of eight over sized bats, a wolf, or a cloud of smoke at will.
    ~Has unnatural strength that exceeds that of a normal man.
    ~Can regenerate, but at a slow pace.
    ~Can suck the blood of the living by biting them, and if she drains most of their blood and puts some of her own blood into their mouth they will be turned into a vampire. If she simply drains all thei blood, they will become a mindless null, completely loyal to her. (See Miscellaneous)
    ~Can hypnotize someone if that person is weak minded enough, but only if she is able to stare them directly in the eye for about 3 seconds.
    Weaknesses
    ~Is allergic to garlic. It weakens her and makes her vomit. It won't kill her.
    ~Burns if exposed to the sun.
    ~Burns when in contact with anything holy. Only if there is a particularly strong belief in it that is close-by, so she's not going to be harmed by the "holy vampire cloak" of "hocus pocus religion on the other side of the world".
    ~Is paralyzed if a piece of wood (stake or not) goes through her heart. It won't kill her, but she won't be able to move, think, or do anything at all until some nice (re; stupid) passerby removes it.
    ~Can't enter a home uninvited.

    Backstory: There is not much to tell in Adele's backstory. She's trained in magic with Ghar since she was five. When her mom, Serena, left for the Nexus she came willingly.

    Miscellaneous: Adele is an original vampire. She does not have a sire and could become the leader of her own coven.

    Adele is often accompanied by a number of nulls. They are a type of zombie, though stronger, faster and all together ore dangerous. They are completely loyal to her and will obey her every command. When not guided by her they are mindlessly violent and hungry.

    Alias: The self-proclaimed 'Blind Lord of the Sunless Sea'. Also Yann. Yann thought he'd have a pretentious title.

    Race/Species: Insomniac (metahuman), transitioning to Minor God. Demigod would probably be the closest approximation for quite a while yet.

    Age: 48

    Alignment: Hard to pin down. He tries to be Good, but the man does things that might not qualify as such.

    Class/Profession: Psionic Cleric/Mindform Demigod (essentially, he thinks himself into a new physical being)

    Power Rating: Scaleable, probably a C-B at the moment. Maybe a low B.

    Description (human): A little stocky, average height, middle-aged. Possessed of a handsome, almost tanned complexion. Yann sports a trimmed, short, slightly greying goatee-beard that travels around his mouth and down for an inch or so more. His hair is receding slightly in the front, consisting of a dark color speckled with grey in spots. It is cut short and well-groomed. Unlike the rest of his race, he doesn't look perpetually tired, in fact, he looks energetic and healthy. His dark eyes gleam with surprising life for an older man.

    He wears dark-colored, simple clothes. Most prominent in his wardrobe, except during hot days of course, is a black overcoat that extends down to the space just above his knees.

    Description (mindform): A towering, misshapen thing, vaguely humanoid in its powerful presence. His twisted body doesn't always have a proper symmetry to it, or even an exact bone structure, as the flesh seems to shift or ripple almost constantly. The Lord's god-flesh is a dirty brown-yellow color, patches of black spots marking his body.

    Yann's lower body is alternatively a pair of human-shaped legs and feet (minus distinct toes) or a set of five double-jointed, spindly legs of bone and muscle. They move with a frightening, graceful symmetry despite being uneven. Perhaps its the way the joints move.

    The upper torso is the most human thing, relatively constant except for when he wishes to shift things around. A pair of clawed three-fingered hands on single-jointed arms extend from the 'shoulders', when symmetry can be found, and more arms can apparently be spontaneously grown from his back.

    The head is yet another oddity. A neck extends upward to an unusually round, spherical skull, with prominent furrows and ridges in the face where his eyes and nose would be. Yet it is only a fleshy mass, like the countenance of a human with the features shed entirely. Just above where the forehead would be, the entire scalp terminates in a series of what appear to be ridged tentacles, wound about eachother in a massive, fleshy 'pony-tail' that twists around itself and hangs about halfway down his back. This is perhaps the most symmetrical part of him.

    These tentacles can come apart and reach upward, becoming a star-formation of whipping limbs. Though the outer area is ridged, almost carapaced, the inside is a fleshy place, like a strange mouth atop his head, where a toothy maw puckers and pants. When he exercises abilities, the ridges upon the tentacles suddenly open like eyelids, revealing a series of slitted silver eyes along each 'limb', all watching with a sinister glare. They are clouded, but Yann still sees perfectly, even when these strange optic sensors are closed.

    The creature reaches a height of over seven feet, not including the mouth-eye-tentacles when they reach up instead of winding around eachother.

    Personality: He likes peace, and tranquility, and equality. Yannovick does not appreciate leisure-time being interrupted, and prefers to be left alone when he wants to be so. Slow to act, considerate of every facet of a situation, he tends to observe extensively before hatching any sort of plan.

    Yann is a generous and caring sort, very loyal to those who serve him. He is devoted to both his own goals and the collective needs of his small church, always happy to help when he can. While he tries to avoid showing it, a measure of malignant pride is creeping into his persona as he slowly gains power. Even so, his ambition grows with this pride.

    The man is particularly critical of other peoples or religions, but is so in a friendly manner, and often suggests an attitude of tolerance and acceptance towards other cults or sects. This extends (mostly) to his worshippers. But beneath the facade, the handshakes and warm smiles, Yann despises deities in general. Or at least, many beings on that level of power. He finds them to be selfish, worthless things, who delight only in bringing a world to life so that they might then ignore it when it requires help. Where are they when madmen murder children? Where are they when an angry beast from another universe sets to tearing the world apart? They're up in their private demi-planes, living the life and occasionally throwing a bone or two of power to the servants known as clerics or the like. Of course, he knows the situation also depends on individual deities.

    Anything else, I'll post later.

    Equipment:

    He has offerings, typical human stuff, and the like back home. He typically carries:

    -Clothes. Duh.
    -A little pill-bottle.
    -A sidearm of some sort, typically holstered under his coat.
    -A wallet.
    -Anything else I can't think of right now.

    Besides these, the mindform can manifest a two-handed mace, essentially a pole which terminates in a solid metal cylinder. A cylinder bristling all around with long, wicked-looking spikes.

    Abilities:

    Strengths:

    -Durability far exceeding that of a human, at least for physical damage. Magical and psionic are different stories.
    -Strength superior to a human as well.
    -When his lower body is walking on five legs, these limbs are prehensile, capable of picking up small objects while the remaining ones still support his weight.
    -Some level of god-power. Limited Sight, which is basically viewing the inner truths or greater forms of things. That should have some interesting results. Limited reality alteration, including creating something from existing matter, though he can't rapidly warp things like, say, an FMA style alchemist. Also, like, maybe an energy blast or something.
    -Mid-high-level Psionic Shaper.
    -More as he grows.

    It should be noted that Yannovick has close to no combat prowess at the moment. A skilled mage, or even just a skilled swordsman, could go up against him handily.

    Weaknesses:

    -Magic and psionics do more damage than a hail of bullets. Though a hail of bullets will still do damage.
    -Becomes angered if you hit the right buttons.
    -His worshippers grant him strength and durability, his form, and his Sight. Kill them, mind control them, or something, and he loses it all. In fact, the sheer drop in power from having them removed all at once might kill him outright, or at least knock him out cold.
    -Anti-psionic powers tend to inhibit his abilities as well, as they are largely based in psionics.
    -In human form, he's a bit more durable, but not so much as the mindform. He can be killed far easier.

    Skills:

    -Decent Leadership.
    -Imagination. Very creative.
    -He can shoot a gun, but Yann is no expert marksman.
    -Anything I can't think of right now.

    Backstory

    Same as Ordo, except he went a different path. After the fall of their world, Yann went on a campaign to deepen his psychic power, and in doing so, began to experience new powers and strange influences. So on and so forth, he eventually came to the Nexus and started a religion in a small mountain town called New Ellse.

    Maybe more detail later.

    Miscellaneous: In charge of a cult, one he named the Church of the Blind Lord. Also, father of Ordo Ventrii.

    Power Rating: 5, but only by grace of his elementals. Without them, he's a particularly sneaky 2. He plans on making deals and alliances to gain more power.
    Description: A tall, blonde man who always seems to be scheming in that gray suit of his. His eyes are scary, as well as his smile, though most cannot figur out why.

    Personality: Scheming, greedy, and definitely evil. He's not above doing good to get the job done, but he never does good for good's sake. If you piss him off, expect one or more elementals to be included in his revenge.
    Equipment: A supply of fresh gray suits, an FN 57, and a suitcase full of nasty knives and thieve's tools.
    Abilities: A variety of thieve's skills, and the elements at his disposal.
    Backstory: Alexander was a homeless thief living out of an abandoned garden in the Outside. Living meal to meal without any pity or compassion eventually pushed him to murder, and in retreat from his first kill, he reached out for any help he could find.
    Three hands caught his. One made of ice, one of fire, and one of dirt. The three 'original' elements. A deal was made. Alex would have the powers of these long forgotten and angry demigods, in exchange for service even beyond death...
    Miscellaneous: Alex is always accompanied by three rarely visible elementals. Ember (fire), Ariel (cold), and Maya (earth). These elementals make him a formidable threat, but he's useless without them. Luckily, few magics despite their own, older magics affect them.

    Description: There's a picture in the link above, but more specifically ---> Reddish brown and black bands of fur, but he dyes all of it black for stealth, seven pairs of limbs, each with four digits, feathery antennae, one of which is obviously robotic, super fast metabolism, large as well as multi-faceted and red eyes, one of which is usually figured correctly to be fake. Four of his limbs are fake, but only two are obviously fake, since they were made fairly cheaply, but they can shoot out like grappling hook-like things and are just as useful as the rest of his limbs. His robotic limbs would probably be a bit stronger than normal (probably just to average human strength). He'd undulate along quickly, when he'd have to, but prefers to walk only on his hindmost four legs, to make himself look taller. He wears a vest that's covered in more black fur to blend in and carries all kinds of wilderness survival tools and a small blaster made for his hands.

    Personality: A wily and, some say, crazy old coot. Loves traveling, doing anything that anyone would consider to be daring, but usually hunts scary animals. In places with animals that you aren't allowed to kill, he'd just find them, maybe take some recordings, tranquilize them, take something as a trophy, just to prove that he could have killed the thing. He knows that he'll eventually have to turn into his race's version of a butterfly, which is when he'll lose his mind and care only about flying, eating, and mating, pretty much, a fate that is the only one that terrifies him, so he's trying to make a name for himself, wouldn't mind dying in some horrible accident or something, but, since he is ofttimes hired for safari type things, he's always very careful for the sake of his customers.

    Equipment: Mentioned before. A vest with various tools. A blaster. Apparently, people are just randomly transported to this Nexus place, so he wouldn't have a spaceship or landspeeder or anything. Most recently, an indigo power ring.

    Abilities (with weaknesses attached!): Fast metabolism (easily falls victim to things but also recovers faster than most). Agility (but no strength). Stealthiness (but horrible and unaccustomed to lying). Two grapply hook arms (that take a while to rearm?). Cybernetic eye with infravision (he's still fairly near-sighted).

    Backstory: Born as well as raised on Ruuria, but only for a couple of years, at which point, his guardian at the time took him to a spaceport. They were planning on taking a flight to some popular tourist destination, but he, like every stupid little kid ever, got lost and made his way to an entirely different ship. Sure that he knew the correct flight number and that his guardian would catch up with him, he unfortunately ended up on a hunter's ship headed for Trammis III. Once there and while asleep, he was mistaken for some sort of vermin and chucked in a bush. When he woke up, the ship was gone, and he had to fight his way through inhospitable terrain and dinosaurs trying to eat him. He learned a lot, got to love the adrenaline rush of living in the wilderness with barely anything while being hunted by monsters, but he was eventually rescued and was taken back to Ruuria, but, after relearning manners and stuff, found that it no longer held any interest for him, As soon as he could, he got out and started his own business, which didn't benefit him for long, since he was just transported to this Nexus place.

    Power Rating: He's a C+ on Neon's scale. And about a 4 on Quinsar's scale.

    Description: Ory stands at about 5'11" and is pretty good shape. He has piercing green eyes and mostly black hair. He has two locks of hair dyed green and blue respectively on either side of his face. He has average features but has a very obvious chipped tooth.
    He tends to wear clothing that functions as safety wear for his favorite pastime, hoverboarding, these include fingerless black leather gloves and a pair of goggles. He often wears a loose, sleeveless jacket made of a thick material. He favors black shirts and blue jeans.

    Personality: Ory is a very open person. He is a bit ashamed of his wealthy background and does his best to fit the blue-collar, Southsider, attitude of his closest friends. With that attitude comes his hate of backing down from conflict and tendency to look the other way as long as nobody is getting hurt.

    Equipment: His goggles are multi-purpose cybernetics with different settings for darkness, bright light, and protection from visual attacks. Also they house a miniature droid intelligence he calls Delta that he can converse with and get information from.
    His hoverboard is a top-quality machine that allows him to hover anywhere from 6 inches to 20 ft. above ground and move at breakneck speeds.
    His gloves are embedded with crystals that work with his cybernetics to produce a flame like energy manifestation that he can use in combat situations.

    Abilities: Ory has latent psychic potential which is very common in his society his cybernetics enhance this allowing him to manifest energy bolts and speed up his reaction time. His wealthy family insisted he study martial arts for his own protection and as a result he's a capable hand-to-hand fighter.
    While he has considerable power to bring to bear he's not really that tough being as easily injured as any other human. He relies on speed and quickness not pure force or the ability to absorb damage.

    Backstory: He grew up rich and rebelled picking up unsavory friends and dangerous hobbies. This along with his tendency to step in when he feels others need help has gotten him in a lot of trouble. Recently he was "disposed of" by a group of thugs by being dropped in a inter-dimensional portal leaving him stranded in The Nexus.

    Each of his forearms has a thin, fin-like appendage, and he is well-muscled, yet not of ridiculous Schwarzenegger proportions. He is wears a leather jacket with its sleeves rolled up, a spiked collar, fingerless gloves, and sweet yellow shades. His skin is a blueish colour, and he often wears a sizable shark-toothed grin.
    Personality: Man, I told you, he's all chill up in this. Well, most of the time, anyways. He's a good guy, he's just fairly slow and relaxed most of the time - nothing but evil acts really seem to bother him, and when anything does it's usually met with "Man, that's not cool."
    Equipment: He's got his clothes as described above, and nothing really else.
    Abilities: Has the ability to transform between his normal, more human form, and a huge, muscled shark-man with gaping jaws. His strength is already more than a normal man's, but it's rumored that in shark-form his bite can tear steel.

    Description: Ligz stands about 1 meter and 10 centimeters tall (or 3,3 feet) and have green skin. He have relatively long ears and nose compared to his head and can often be seen wearing various skirts of different colors, always ironed and cleaned. Sometimes he even uses a snazzy journalist hat. He got almost blinding white teeth and a very winning grin that goes well with his brown eyes.
    Personality: Ligz is an fast talker and risk taker, he often takes a gamble in order to get a good story but sometimes end up in more then he can bargain for. Thankfully he got his fast tongue to help him, and if that doesn't work, Faith. And if not Faith can save the situation either, he does what he should have done in the first place, run.
    Ligz loves his job and to get the adrenaline flowing doing it, often making jokes to light up the mood if they are in a really sticky situation.
    Equipment: A notebook and a hidden tape recorder he always keeps around trying to record everything that happens around him. Who knows? It might be news and Ligz wouldn't forgive himself if he missed something like.
    Uses some spy technology and got a gun at home for defense but doesn't often use it in his work.
    Abilities: Has perfected the noble art of fleeing for your life and is pretty good at talking as well. Have some spy technology as well as some hacker skills. He also know how to handle a gun, if he would bring it with him that is.

    Description: Faith is undead, some call her a zombie but thats not quite true.
    Faith doesn't really like to speculate about it. Even since then she hates water and can go long ways to avoid being in it.
    She is a odd sort of undead though, while she doesn't need to breath she does need to sleep and eat, or so she claims at least.
    It might be possible that she only does that out of habit and to feel more normal.
    Faith often wears a raincoat as she hates being wet which reminds her of her death. Under it she wears normal clothes however along with jeans and a pair of nice working shoes. Her skin looks unnaturally pale but doesn't show any signs of decay.
    Faith often consider wearing make up to cover it but feels too lazy to bother, she hates make-up anyway. Her eyes are yellow shining orbs that often scare people off unless her skin isn't clue enough she isn't alive anymore. Therefore faith is often wearing a pair of sunglasses.
    Her hair is red and down to her shoulders, it often looks wet, she have a hard time making it perfect.
    Personality: Faith is somewhat asocial ever since her 'accident', she just spends time with her closest family and friends such as Ligz. Since she doesn't seem to age anymore she constantly worries about surviving her peers but tries to take it one day at the time. Being a journalist makes her forget about her condition but she constantly showers everyone that talks to her with sarcasm that keeps strangers at a distance.
    But behind the unfriendly exterior, Faith really cares about the people around her and can be seen offer people help with things they can't do themselves.
    Equipment: Faith often carries around a camera, a note pad and a tape recorder but isn't obsessive or secret about it as Ligz. However, since she got a somewhat unnatural strength she often need to carry around all other gadgets Ligz and her need, including food.
    Abilities: Faith have a an unusually, perhaps even supernaturally strong will which people claim was the reason she just came back from the dead. She is also stronger and faster then any normal human but doesn't like to show this off so much. She is also highly resistant to damage and her wounds seems to heal at a pretty fast rate by unknown means.
    As undead Faith doesn't need to breath and might not need to drink, sleep or eat either.
    A strange thing about her though is that she seems to lack a soul, while she will easily get mad at anyone who claims this, magic and technology that targets the soul simply doesn't seem to work on her.

    Description: Serena has red eyes and fangs that are quite small, which can easily go unnoticed. She is strikingly beautiful with pale skin, a mass of long, wavy, near black hair, and pointed ears. She almost always wears dresses that could never be called respectable, and are often red.

    Personality: Due to the corruption of Vice, Serena is now much more likely to indulge. Whether that be in blood, drink, or pleasure. She's not above manipulating others to get what she wants, which is often them in bed.

    Equipment:
    - A pair of ruby teardrop earrings.
    - An automatic pistol.

    Abilities: She is skilled with pistols and highly athletic. Because of the extent of Vice's corruption, Serena will spread it herself through touch.

    ~Can turn into a bat, a rat, a wolf, or a cloud of smoke at will.
    ~Has unnatural strength that exceeds that of a normal woman.
    ~Can regenerate, but at a slow pace.
    ~Can suck the blood of the living by biting them, and if he drains most of their blood they will be turned into a vampire.
    ~Can hypnotize someone if that person is weak minded enough, but only if she is able to stare them directly in the eye for about 3 seconds.
    Weaknesses
    ~Is allergic to garlic. It weakens her and makes her vomit. It won't kill her.
    ~Bursts into flames if exposed to the sun.
    ~Bursts into flames when in contact with anything holy. Only if there is a particularly strong belief in it that is close-by, so she's not going to be harmed by the "holy vampire cloak" of "hocus pocus religion on the other side of the world".
    ~Is paralyzed if a piece of wood (stake or not) goes through her heart. It won't kill her, but she won't be able to move, think, or do anything at all until some nice (re; stupid) passerby removes it.
    ~Can't cross running water.
    ~Can't enter a home uninvited.

    Backstory: Orphaned at a young age, Ghar decided to take her under his wing. Ghar was never truly satisfied with her however, as she displayed no magical talent. She grew up with Ghar's other adopted child, Gabriel, and he is like a brother to her in everything but blood.

    Serena fell in love with and eventually married Nite. Soon they had a child together, Adele. Some time after Adele was born Serena left Gul-Thadar and returned as a vampire. She never returned to her family for a month after returning. She was struggling with the fact that she would have to kill as a vampire. She nearly died of starvation as a result of this. She eventually came to terms with the need to kill, and steeled her heart. Nite and Adele never learned of this struggle.

    Eventually it can to the time when Nite asked if she would like to come to the Nexus. She gladly came as she was tired of the corruption of Gul-Thadar.

    Miscellaneous: She has a small, round robot, about the size of a head. It has a large rifle barrel emerging from the middle of it and a cluster of red lenses around where the barrel meets the body. It hovers using an anti-grav field.
