Mozart's Dies Irae might have a similar (if darker) tone. I'm not that keen on choral music, but it simply has to be powerful or bombastic, there are loads of masterpieces to pick from.
Nah, not quite. I tried that once, but it's too dark. It lacks the mad glee.
