A grim faced, tired looking young man slogs his way off the train, having just passed through the extensive security system. He trailed forwards, staring at the clouds, then slowly lowered his gaze watching the cleaners, the men, the woman, and the nigh endless uniformed students. Most walked along as young ones normally would, but here and there a boy would be juggling fire for the amusement of his friends, a girl passing a juice-box to her companions with out touching it.

The boy watched for a while longer, before speaking out, whether to himself, to some being only he can see, or merely to sate his boredom, it would be hard to say.

"So this is Academy City," said the watcher "just as boring as I expected."
A few people jumped as a distant explosion sounded, a sirens roared.
"That's better." he remarked, walking forwards.
As he walked through what would be his home for the next few years, passing through crowds of students fleeing the commotion and others rushing to see it Destan paused......and smiled.
