I think most of them depend on your post count, with the "creature" (pixie, halfling, dwarf, bugbear etc.) getting bigger as you get more posts. Of course, there being only one Giant in the Playground (the forum's creator, Rich Burlew). There may be other titles that are specially given to selected individuals. I don't really know any details about how this whole thing works though.
