Default Re: Blood, Steel, and Fire Arena: hannahbbug3 IC

Desira sets herself to the task of climbing the wall with a ferocity worthy of the Lioness...

Chaucer, watching her work gathers his power and powers a tremendous leap, enough that he is able to catch hold of the slippery wall and scramble over...

Upon cresting the ledge, Chaucer immediately senses the presence of a pair of small creatures to his left...

Those first checks would have had Disadvantage as well for the Slippery Wall. But the Destiny Points stopped that. Can't say I would have used them there, but we'll see.

Chaucer jumps and can reach over 10' up and then climbs the rest of the way up.
Desira gets a Critical Success which is 15' of climb.

Now, I wouldn't have used the Destiny Points there but they definitely had a dramatic effect!

Chaucer will get to act in the surprise round, Desira will not.
