Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
Hold on, my calculations are incorrect. You can take a move action twice in a round... so that's 60 ft. per six seconds... or 36000 ft. per hour... or 6.8 miles per hour.
At top running speed, that's 13.6 mph. The PHB gives running speed at 12 mph, though.Visit the Chocolate Hammer IRC channel!

On topic now
Key word for Avbaroy is that it is Dnd based. Rules still get bent this way and that when needed. If you want a OotS style Touhou avatar, send me a request.

On a different note, I got my sister to play Portal. She just got the Weighted Companion Cube. I forgot how funny this game is.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
I actually looked up console codes for this game, just so I could bypass the Material Emancipation Fields and carry the CC with me to the end. And then I lost it outside the final door...
I never said I was a pedant. I said I enjoy being pedantic.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
Next question about Salmon:
Those cybernetic enhancements. Do they do anything? I mean, is salmon going to pull out a laser fingun any time soon?
I also notice that people have been drawing him with less of those cybernetics since his return. Well, not much less. Mostly the eye-piece.Visit the Chocolate Hammer IRC channel!

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
Anyone want to approach this or should I just wait for Salmon to answer.
Also, the future that Salmon came back from: was this one in which the UNA won, Threeshades one, or both? To me, the single panel that shows a dragon fighting jet fighters makes me theorize that in that future, the good guys were totally defeated and the world is caught in a war between the two BBEGS.Visit the Chocolate Hammer IRC channel!

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
Indeed. It is, after all, using OotS style generally (not that there's anything wrong with other styles), and generally the characters act like they would if they were in OotS. i.e. they are aware that they are PCs in a D&D universe. It doesn't matter if the majority of the ABR folk are not described in a D&D manual.
And although you can 'rage' against D&D, MM,()we are still going to use D&D terms often. However, nobody's forcing you to.
