barkeep, couple of ales and have you heard of anything going on, for my line of work? ste assumes by now he would realise his a bounty hunter. and barkeeps hear alot of gossip. hopefully he might of heard of some one who needs to be caught, or knows of some one who wants someone else caught.

so, you got a family, kid? he says this not to be patronizing, but because he still seams so young compared to himself... the last years have changed ste alot, and made him feel older than he is

I have immediate relatives. Not what I'd call a family per se. What about yourself?

hah, family, parents sent me to school, i was good, i was bright. i had a promising future, but then my parents had to go get themselves killed... my parents killers had a bounty on them, so i went and hunted them down and handed them over after about 2 weeks of searching. i simply walked up to them said "OI, YOU!" and in fury of standing in front of my parents killers, i did something i even now find stupid, risky and often more trouble than its worth, nutted them both one after another, knocked em clean out, but in my rage i was consumed by hatred and when returned to my school, now paid for by my aunt and uncle. i started doing badly, i couldnt think straight, so i ran away, took the reward money and used that to live for a couple weeks, then decided, ive got to get some money, hey, i was good at bounty hunting, ill do that, and thats where i am today, i laugh about it now, but sometimes i have sirious... emotional problems about it if i dont laugh about it. parents dead. lost career. lost family. lost friends, everything, but thats the way life is. its never fair... ste continues to swig his ale looking slightly down. hopeing for a reply

No, never fair. What really happened to me was pretty similar, I was a student in Nuln Law College. Spent eight years there. Did pretty good, got awards, certificates, long degree in law. Someone tried to jump me with a cudgel so I hit him. That's what I thought, really he was offering me a rolled up scroll for some homework I'd lent him to proofread. They ripped up me degree, spent another year earning it back. Then someone tried to attack me from behin - or so I thought. I dodged and stuck me leg out. Turned out to be a jogger. He fell over and broke his nose. Same again, and again. Evetually, me tutor told me I'd been institutionalised. Lost me grip on reality. They gave me the degree and kicked me out of school, telling me to get an apprenticeship.

Georg swallows a good bit of the ale, then finishes it off with a refill of water to thin out the alcohol. He hops up and draws and replaces his sword.

Georg stays behind him, using his Science knowledge to issue a few pointers.

Most give you an odd glare and walk away. Although there is a man in a trenchcoat and hat that is suspiciously looking you guys over.
