Re: Lord of the Rings WW : The journey Begins [game thread]
Ok I'm gonna go with the Bushranger today, mainly because he neglected to vote at all on two of the wolf killing wagons. Even if that was just coincidence it seems that his on off voting patterns are trying to keep him under the radar!

I agree with Fin - I've had my eye on Bushranger this game, too.

Re: Lord of the Rings WW : The journey Begins [game thread]
This has taken off quickly as well. But I had the same thoughts about The Bushranger as well, and a very quick wagon was a good sign last time, so why not go with it I guess.
If he IS a wolf, that would make yesterday's voting patterns be worth reviewing again...Avatar by Glasswhistle

Re: Lord of the Rings WW : The journey Begins [game thread]
Bushranger looks like a good enough possibility.
If he's not a wolf, then we'll be stressed for time, won't we?

Re: Lord of the Rings WW : The journey Begins [game thread]
Istari walked through the forest worried for being up so late and alone. Despite being a ranger he had gotten turned around and was lost, unable to find his way back to the Prancing Pony Inn. He knew better than to wander around now, especially since the sun had gone down so started to set up a shelter and a fire. He had just finished grabbing enough kindling when he heard a most beautiful and relaxing song. He stretched and settled down next to a willow tree, no longer caring to finish the fire. In a matter of moments he was sound asleep.
Then the tree ate him.
Night 8 EndsSpoilerIstari waskilled by Nazgulseaten by Old Man Willow. Honestly did you think all trees were nice and stationary? He was a Villager/Wary Traveler
Day 9 begins now and ends in roughly 48 hours.

Shadowcaller for reasons mentioned multiple times. Frankly, I think it's time we actually found out. And with no seer, this is the only way.

Re: Lord of the Rings WW : The journey Begins [game thread]
Well I know you were going to push this wagon sooner or later Blue Umbrella and your pushing it toward your doom! (unless your a wolf that is)
Shadow is most likely going to follow and then maybe some others (everyone love following shadow). I don't know how many wolfs there are left but the higher number would be 4 but I doubt that they are that many.
And please stop using the excuse "I want to find out" that both you and shadow are using, heck I want to ""find out all the roles in the game.
Anyway I think I'm going forMechafoxagain, but I would not be surprised if BU or shadow is turning out to be wolfs...
Edit: Blue Umbrella, you claim that you have stated reasons to get me lynched but its shadow that have stated such suspicions.
You have been very vocal in this game but that has not helped the villagers... at all.
You basically follow up all shadows suspicions and yet you point at the only person that at least I know is a villager (me). You didn't really add anything new to what shadow had already told us and when the wagon switched the other direction you followed.
More edit: Also I was really close to getting auto-lynched, would a wolf really do that this late into a game when I have been quite active in other games where I am not a wolf?

Re: Lord of the Rings WW : The journey Begins [game thread]
*sigh* That first paragraph was already defended against by me. I see no point in repeating myself. The second one is untrue, and to say that makes me more suspicious of you.
As for the switch comment, I don't really know what you're talking about. If you're referring to Kwarkpudding, I had good reason to switch to him. If you actually look back you'll see that.
EDIT: Yes, a wolf could become very close to being auto'd. It doesn't matter how close they are to the end of the game.Last edited by Boo; 2009-01-30 at 09:18 PM.

Re: Lord of the Rings WW : The journey Begins [game thread]
Well yes of course, its nothing that 100 % guarantees that I'm not a wolf, but its not fitting into the wolf model, thats why I mentioned it. This game is after all looking for patterns and wolfish behavior, and that was not wolfish behavior.
Edit: Yeah, I saw your reason, but we have different opinions about how "good" it was. The evidence you were given were in fact from a wolf so...

Re: Lord of the Rings WW : The journey Begins [game thread]
EDIT: Goodness, ninja'd while I was pondering this all out.
Goodness, only 9 people left? Small games creep up on me quickly. And I'm not sure who to go with anymore. I was hoping The Bushranger was Mordor so that Day 7 would have been between two wolves and that we'd have a short list of people who pointed at neither.
Since Murska was the first wolf lynched, it figures since Day 4 was basically a posthumous seer test, a wolf would have abandoned ship and jumped on that wagon. Since I know that I am a villager, and Fin is a proven villager, the only suspect through this is Blue Umbrella.
I have some other small doubts niggling around in my head, but they're not really strong enough to be worth mentioning.Last edited by PhantomFox; 2009-01-30 at 09:23 PM.

Re: Lord of the Rings WW : The journey Begins [game thread]
He was attacked by the wolves and was protected by the baner. Wolves can't attack their own and get that result (trust me, I've tried in past games)
