    Default Online Map Builder? [3.5]

Ok, so here's the situation. I'm hosting a game of D&D with some friends via MSN. So far it's working pretty well, but they're starting to complain about having trouble keeping track of where they are in the dungeon I've put them in. They want me to give them a map, but I can't give them a full map of the dungeon or it'll ruin the entire thing. Does anyone know of something I can use to show them the dungeon as they progress through it without having to use something like Paint and constantly upload new images? Thanks for any help.

you could use the Descent Mission editor to create maps, unfortunately it has only 10' wide corridors but it's reasonable.

you can print whatever maps you have to PDF using Cute PDF writer as a printer from your editing program then share (e-mail etc) the PDF file with them.

Tell your PCS to make their own map. They're walking through the dungeon. They're characters should be able to make the maps if they want them. This way, the characters will be forced to rely on their own intellect to make the maps and thus have to worry about if their experience with the dungeon so far is good enough to make an accurate map.

Wow, I do believe MapTool is the best thing I've seen for this. I do believe that's what I'll be using.

And yes Berserk, I agree with you on that point. The players are mostly getting annoyed because they're having issues visualizing where their characters are. Especially since they just had an NPC lead them through a literal maze of hallways and they want to get back to where they came from. Either way with MapTool I can always just replace the fog of war over places as they pass through them.
