He didn't come out of nowhere. He was here when Alek was being mean to me, the first time. He cuddled up to me and gave me warmth and love and power. She smiles at Baby Kaela. Laughing.

"I will," Raven says. He's a little suspicious, but doesn't show it. If Darkcomet was really okay with it, then he could have sent his psychic illusion to say so. After all, Raven owes Darkcomet a clan debt, so he would have helped him.

But he doesn't show any suspicion, and cordially escorts Darkcomet's brother to the door.
