Melody has recovered from seeing the blood soaked walls. She puts Kaela to bed, then begins helping Mr. Huggles II and Sparkles the IV clean the walls.

Sparkles the IV records what they say, for later use, of course.

DC heads back out into the great room, and heads for the door. Not quite gone yet, though.

When Darkcomet gets to the door, a ghost barbarian armed with a ghost touch warspork charges and disembowels him.

"Raawwr!"

Turtle comes out of her shrine, no less troubled than when she went in. "Darkcomet, we need to go after that lich's phylactery."

[Darkcomet]

I know where it is, but not much else.

He doesn't sound very confident about it.

"We have to try, and now, before it regenerates." Turtle says.

[Darkcomet]

It might be too late already. And whatever he's got there protecting it, it's bound to be tough. And I saw him back at the battle, dueling your goddess and not getting obliterated by her. If he finishes while we're there, it'll be like fighting a god-you sure you're up for this?

He sighs. People always expected him to be able to fight things he thought were out of his league.

[happyturtle]

"If you don't want to go, then tell me where it is so I can." Her eyes glow slightly green as she speaks.

[Darkcomet]

I...

He thinks for a moment, though it feels much longer to him.

We've got a lich to destroy.

He pulls out a piece of paper with the dimensional coordinates of the Inverted Tower written on it.

He thinks to himself:

Time to end it...

Turtle nods, the glow fading. "Right. Let's go." She goes to the portal room and begins setting one of the portals for the coordinates. "Fan will come. Do you know of anyone else who will fight with us?"

[Darkcomet]

I know of some. I don't know if one is even still alive, though...

He's referring to KR here. Though she was invisible during the fight with the old god, he recognized the blasts.

There's Runner, another member here. And then there's KR-15, but I have no idea how to find him. And I doubt you'd be willing to work with him.

Could have sworn she mentioned before that she went toe to toe with the lich to get an idea of how he operates in addition to trying to pick up his soul-scent...

Avatar knocks at the front door of GLoG.

She has a dish full of roast flummox! She recalls that Dani really liked the stuff on that road-trip and has decided to bring this version of her some. How nice!

That... and it's an excuse to make sure Happy is okay.

Zee saw her skewer her goddess and all.

Couldn't have possibly been pleasant.

[happyturtle]

"Any. Means. Necessary." Turtle says grimly. "I don't care who we have to team up with to make this happen."

A drone answers the door.

Greeting: Welcome to the Good League of Good!
Query: How may I help you?
Query: Would you like some cake?

I don't know where to find him anyway. If I did, I'd have sent him after Calublufiok long ago.

He sighs. That robot was never around when he needed him. Though you can't really blame him. You know, timezones.

I've got a few new tricks, at least.

He pulls out his voidsteel dagger and points it down at the floor. A second later, it sounds as though something hit the floor.

A few things on Calublufiok, though: lightning does nothing to him. Positive energy won't work-he's too smart for that. Considering Reinholdt works with him, I wouldn't be surprised in the least if he had a treasure trove of artifacts.

"Eeeeee!" Avatar squees. "You sound just like that robot from that star-wars game! Except you have a cute little high pitch voice!"

That doesn't answer any of its questions. Avatar realizes she should probably do that.

"Oh! I brought this roast for Dani. I thought she might like it. And cake would be great! Just so long as it isn't a lie. What's the occasion?"

The avatar of Ragnnora steps into the base, still reading as 404 Error: Alignment Not Found.

Statement: Dani appears to be caught in a deadtime ooze, but you may leave the roast in the kitchen.
Statement: Our cake is truthful, baked by Princess Lexington.
Statement: Every day is an occasion for cake.

Avatar will pass the door to the portal room as she is led in, where she may see Happy and Darkcomet talking.

"I think I can agree with that sentiment," Avatar laughs. The roast is dropped off and a plate of cake acquired as she sets off to poke around the odd compound. And notices Turtle.

Starts to go in but...

Stops.

Somewhat hesitant.

Would Turtle really want to see her again after that mess? Didn't she have enough unpleasant stuff to think about already?

[Darkcomet]

DC thinks for a moment.

Wait. I remember something now. There's almost nothing in that place but a tower, with swirling lights outside it. Can you make sure we come out at the tower itself? Because swirling lights aren't usually a good thing.

He spots Zee, but says nothing to her.

[happyturtle]

Turtle looks up. "Hi Avatar. Sorry, can't stay to chat. We've got a lich to kill."

She puts a note up next to the portal:

She sets the coordinates to (hopefully) release them at the tower itself. And then she steps through.

DC heads through as well.

Unfortunately, it would seem that both of them are consumed by Reinholdt's deadtime.

"Wait wait wait!" Zee waves her arms about. "Is this that lich that was working with Reinholdt? I kicked him around a bit a few days ago. Even managed to pick up on his soul scent. If you're looking for his soul hidey box I might be able to help."

And of course they're both gone already.

Zee huffs and hurries after.

Runner undeadtimes in the great room. He looks around, seeing who all is there.

[Reinholdt]

Reinholdt turns to look at Lex. Making the presumption they took his rifle, he's only has kitty stuff to defend himself with.

"Oh. Is that so? I'm afraid you're mistaken. I'm not looking to die. Not now. Rabbit made me promise to do something for her." He knows by her actions and voice what Lex wants to do.

Dani wakes up from where she was dozing on the couch.

Raven is around. Wherever.

Turtle is not around. She's gone to a pocket dimension to try and end the lich.

There's a knock knock knock on the door.

Raven answers the door.

A Generic looking paladin is at the door. Obviously, he is of no importance, and will serve only as a plot piece, before being discarded. He probably doesn't even have a name.

As he comes in, there's a slight, almost unnoticeable flicker of the Alignment Scanners, before they show 'Lawful Good. Duh.'
