Enhancement bonuses don't stack. That includes magic vestment with the bonus from your armor. Only the highest applies.

Same regarding greater magic weapon.

I'll rearrange accordingly. Decide whether you'd like to shuffle your buffs about.

Edit: Also, your party didn't have time to eat the heroes' feast, so I'm afraid that's a no.

Both of my melees have armor and shields. One cast goes on each. It grants an enhancement bonus to the armor bonus of the armor, and an enhancement bonus to the shield bonus of the shield. Since armor and shield bonuses stack with each other, its valid. I'll ask in another thread if you want, but everyone will agree with me.

Same regarding greater magic weapon.

The only weapons that really matter are both sides of Liam's Urgrosh and all 4 of Traj's swords. I just didn't want to memorize 6 GMWs, so I chained it. Each GMW only affects each weapon once, and would overlap and replace the enhancement bonuses already on the weapons, except that they don't have any.

One question: Liam's sheet tells me that he has +4 init, and with Motivate Dex that gets to +11. Where'd the extra +6 come from?

Improved Init. Its a prereq feat for Occult Slayer. Its in his feat list, 2nd line, right next to Power Attack. That cool?

Oh, and Taj and Betty have it too.

EDIT: CRAP, I muffed. I was counting motivate dex as +8. Reduce all inits by 1, if it matters.

The other +5 comes from chained Nerve Skitter, one of the Issendir's spells. Lesser Rod of Chaining. Its an immediate spell from SpC which is explicitly allowed to be cast during Init. My whole team gets +12 init on top of whatever it states in their stat blocks.

Fun stuff, right?

Traj casts swift Inspirational Boost, begins a Dragonfire Inspiration (+3 base), then activates his Badge of Valor as an immedate action after his turn (uses next rounds swift action). Traj is also in Punishing Stance, if it matters.
Issendir cast Teleport (self + 3 others) to move himself, Liam, Keld, and Traj up so that Liam and Traj are 5' back from each of the monsters.
Keld activates his Circlet of Rapid Casting as a swift action, using it to cast Turn Anathema, aligning himself to [Good]. He spends his standard action to Turn [Evil] as allowed by Turn Anathema.

Issendir will move 60' forward and place a Solid Fog on the far side of the fleeing one, so that only the back corner 5' square is covered. That should keep it from running too far before I can kill the other one and move on.

Choose your actions for the next eight rounds; unless you have some murderously high-range spells, you won't be able to catch the running one before the turn expires. You'll also have to get Keld out of that grapple.

Almost. Another Crapo on my part. Keld should have activated his Anklets of Translocation to teleport left 10' as a swift action to get out of the grapple before turning. I brain farted that one while thinking up moves for the other guys.

Liam and Traj should be 5' up

Can you put number on the left side of the grid? Then I could specify coordinates.

And the one fleeing was supposed to be 5' in the cloud, with the cloud on the far side of it. Regardless of where it decides to go, its first move action HAS to be only 5' because it starts partially in the cloud. Because its fleeing, it should proceed to move straight through the cloud.

As far as willingly running into the fog, it's smart enough to recognize that that would slow its escape.

Ok, the center of the fog is between the E and F, at the intersection above above them, right on the edge of the table. It extends 20' in all directions from that point.

Gonna need a bit more table....snip some from the bottom.

Put like, an "F" in the spaces that are fogged.

Boo. Sorry I kind of cheesed it with Turn Anathema. I used to use it on my Living Greyhawk cleric, even when I never knew what I was going to be fighting. Outsiders are mean, and thats one of the best ways to get rid of them. Unfortunately, because he is NG, he can only turn [Evil], but neither [Lawful] or [Chaotic].

Anyway, good game. I was a little worried about the grapple. Almost every character I play anymore carries those Anklets of Tranlocation anymore. 2x/day get out of grapple free is pretty awesome.

The Turn Anathema made this pointless; without it, break enchantment and having one of them grab both frontliners might have changed the battle.

When I saw that they had the [Evil] subtype, I figured it wouldn't be much of a fight. Do you have anything in the EL17 range? That doesn't have that subtype, but won't 1shot us wit Blasphemy, Dictum, or Word of Chaos?

Ok! I don't mind fighting things above my CR, but getting hit by a CL 21ish Blasphemy when you only have 11 HD is kinda...not fair.

If you want, we can make it the same day, so spells and whatnot will still have been consumed, not that my team really used much other than Teleport and a single Haste. Betty has lots of 1st level spells, and I think the team has something like 14 Pearl of Power1s lying around that Keld can use for Lesser Vigors to heal any damage.
