Yes, that one. The who she hasn't seen do anything bad, saved her sister's life, and we know isn't associated with baldy of her own free will.

How do we know that? No really, I don't remember seeing anything like that. Honestly, I don't think the thief does like the guy, nor do I think she dislikes the royals, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have something to force her into doing what he wants. In fact, I would be very surprised if she isn't instrumental in his plans. Basically, the princess doesn't trust her, and I don't blame her.
Maybe she did try to stop her from looking into the mirror for altruistic reasons, and maybe she didn't. Regardless, it seems to me that they're going for a classic case of "be all sweet and helpful and good to turn the family against the poorly-behaved but astute teenager whom noone will believe until it's too late". And you're all buying into their ruse. For shame

Shes prety heavily implied to be a slave. You're right, hes probably got a pretty damn reliable way of controlling her. Thats kind of the point... Shes not working with him because she wants to... Shes doing it because she has no choice.

Fact remains that she hasn't done anything wrong and was attacked for pretty much no reason.

All she knows is that the half-elf is working for a guy who she really, really doesn't trust, and with very good reason. What difference does it make whether she betrays them out of malice, or out of fear? She's still dangerous to them.
Sure, she probably overreacted somewhat, but not entirely unreasonably, and that's hardly a reason for her to be a horrible hag.

The only thing that actually implies that is her reflection as some sort of haughty high elf.

Your first question is answered by the strip's title.

As for the second, no idea.

(Incidentally, today was Banana Day apparently.

More like a hyena. Cursed gnoll? It'd be funny to have a monster cursed to look like a human.

And now I guess it's Princess Brat's golden opportunity for saving the day, being useful and legitimizing the divine intervention that let her go on the trip.

Oh dear lord he's count Dracula of the Arabia.

Also wouldn't a mirror of your inner self be almost consistently changing? I mean people do change fairly easily. For example someone could look at the wrong time and see them self as a horrible troll I.E what happened three pages ago.

    soo..

item 1: Evil Bastard, reflection is a batlike crature
item 2: half elf underling, reflection is a noble elf

what are the chances that whatever magic Evil Bastard is going to cast will effect both differently?

1GP Kurassa will get exactely what he asked for and exactely not what he wants

So, why doesn't Kurassa want to enter the mirror himself? He decided not to after seeing his reflection. I'm going to guess that when you enter it, you must confront your reflection. So if you're a greedy monster, you'll have to fight yourself; but calmer, less selfish people may just negotiate with their counterparts.

Ok, heres what I don't understand.

He ordered Fatina into the mirror. She brought up the point that she was currently holding back the priestess lady whose name I cant be bothered to remember because I really don't care about these characters. She brings up a good point... if she or even shorty got loose, it could be a problem... But why can't Baldy just watch the prisoners himself while she goes into the mirror. Seems like a much safer route than trusting someone who knows that if she doesn't obey, she becomes heir to a large kingdom.

How else is the prince supposed to attempt to seduce her to free them?

Well he is the master so he doesn't do such menial tasks and besides "move and I'll charge up a fireball allowing you time to do something" isn't as efficient as "move and I'll slit your throat".
