Yeah, though the fact that humanoids are descended from birds in that world always kinda creeps me out. I just can't look at birds the same way again after plumbing the depths of Dominic Deegan.

Also, it's just... so random. And that... what'cha'ma'callit that the half-orc is married to just reminds me of this one character from the oblongs with one of those really annoying, overblown retainer-full-of-saliva voices so whenever I read her text I hear it in that voice and a part of me dies inside.

Though that's kinda tangential.

Bit of a Disney theme running here, it seems; the last comic was titled The Sorceress' Apprentice, and Meegs is definitely taking style tips from Maleficent.
