Re: Yet another fantasy gamer comic: discuss
I guess that's an acceptable excuse for missing a few daily updates. The only ones the comic has ever missed in 5+ years.
For some reason I am completely unsurprised over his neckbeard.Last edited by Poil; 2011-08-01 at 04:28 AM.

Re: Yet another fantasy gamer comic: discuss
Nah, not the only ones, though they have been few and far between.
And this time definately had the best reason for it, not that you really need to justify missing one or two updates out of a few thousand that have otherwise not only been consistant, but also given freely and on a daily basis.

Re: Yet another fantasy gamer comic: discuss
Well... That's one way to clean up love triangles.
And yet I still find creepy eyes more tolerable than Cadugan...

Re: Yet another fantasy gamer comic: discuss
Well then the least you could do is use her proper name. It's Zara! Or maybe Zora... I dunno, Rich doesn't seem too sure himself.

Re: Yet another fantasy gamer comic: discuss
I noticed the same yesterday, which is why I just roll with creepy eyes.
Sorry, guess the Dominic Deegan thread has made me used to nicknaming characters even if they have been named b the author.

She may still be. She's bleeding from her mouth and got chomped just around the hips. Internal injuries are likely.

Re: Yet another fantasy gamer comic: discuss
It was ever welcome in the first place?
Seriously, if it meant no more Cadugan, I'd not only have no problems with Creepy Eyes having creepy eyes, I'd challenge her to a staring contest.

It's good so see how much Meegs cared for Creepy Eyes.

Re: Yet another fantasy gamer comic: discuss
It still doesn't explain why Creepy Eyes had creepy eyes. I theorised she was some kind of artificial human created by Meegs or another wizard.

Her brothers in the recent flashback got the same eyes.

Re: Yet another fantasy gamer comic: discuss
So, the arc is almost over, what d you think? I wasn't very thrilled. The deaths of the characters didn't had that much of an impact. Cadugan's brother was the most fleshed out character who died, but he didn't have a clear death scene so I expected him to somehow escape. Then didn't really reflect on the death, and when we were told he was dead for real it was to late for an emotional response. The ranger girl wasn't really fleshed out, so I did not really care. Creepy Eyes was killed the moment she got interesting, but it still was the most moving scene.

Eh... It didn't really seem like anyone in-comic even cared about the deaths. If they didn't, why would I?

Ok... So now it seems like we aren't even suppose to care. I guess I can take some satisfaction at being right on that from the start.

Now who is speaking? It's not beyond Charlotte to ham it up a bit; but if she isn't trying to be dramatic she has no reason to say that. So is there something else in Zombie Charlotte's body?
