Deren doesn't sound as though his death made him feel any better, though.

Really? How did he die? His voice doesn't sound all that curious. More like, he thinks he knows how.

I'm not sure what killed him. He had his throat slit, his stomach stabbed, and a bullet wound through his head. And his body had fallen apart...

He pauses.

It turns out he was a cyborg, as well. It certainly explained some things about him.

He still doesn't sound happy about it.

That is interesting.

If i am not mistaken, this man caused you and your brother pain in the past. How do you feel about his death?

Deren nods. As much as he deserved it... I can't say it brought me any peace.

Runner nods a little. Interesting. One would think that the death of somebody who caused so much pain towards them would at least settle certain emotions.

Does DC share the same feelings?

It's just... His death didn't bring them back. Drelin's actions destroyed almost everything we ever knew, and yet, there's nothing his death accomplished. DC doesn't know yet.

Deren sighs.

[Reinholdt]

"His sins are no worse than mine in the eyes of the gods," Turtle says to Lex.

Turtle asks a drone to call Dr Beit. She'll spend the night in the cell with Reinholdt, on watch to make sure he doesn't hurt himself.

The personal drone assigned to Reinholdt will be delivering food and will respond to his requests, as long as requests don't breach security.

((deadtime))

Reinholdt slips out of Turtle's arms with a vacant expression on his face. Realizing he's hungry and thirsty and has a headache, he quietly orders a candy bar, some coffee, and a pair of extra-strong aspirin from the personal drone. The drone goes off.

It did accomplish one thing. His death prevents him from causing any harm in the future.

Hm. Something is kinda funny about this. Methinks Runner's player knows what.

*blink blink* Nope. Over my head.

Then again, my head is in four, nope, five different places right now.

When do you plan on telling DC?

Deren shrugs. As soon as I can find him.

Well, you might want to stay here for a while, then. He seems to come here often.

He nods. Probably. That's why I came here in the first place, after all.

[Reinholdt]

Reinholdt's drone comes back with the requested goods. He swallows the aspirin first. Then nomnomnoms his way through the extra large dark chocolate bar, rinsing it down with extra-caffeinated coffee.

Presuming this cell is standard like I think it is and has a bed, Reinholdt will crawl under it for warmth and hiding and security.

Reinholdt takes advantage of various deadtimes and lax guarding and gullibilities now.

He casts those spells Calublufiok taught him over the years while under the bed. Starting with one to mask sound and make it exceptionally hard to hear anything from under the bed. Then one to mask scent cause it's going to start smelling bad real soon. Finally an illusion to make it look like Reinholdt is all curled up and asleep in the far difficult to reach corner, facing outwards so you can see his little kitty eyes are closed.

The truth of what's happening under there is... far less pleasant.

Xavier returns to Glog.. Looking for Zoe again..

Johnny Boy walks into the greatroom. He's wearing his usual attire, no shirt, white jeans and a black bandana.
He walks into the kitchen and begins making pancakes.
I like pancakes.
He's pretty much oblivious to everyone around him right now.

[Kaelaroth]

With a ripple of time-space, and an odd little stain of champagne beneath him, Kaela appears, in the form of a kitty-cat once again, his pink and purple striped fur looking nice and luxurious. He looks up at Johnny with his eyes, his big smoking coal eyes.

Johnny walks puts his pancakes on a plate and looks at Kaela.
Would you like some pancakes as well?

[Kaelaroth]

The kitty-cat nods, and mewls slightly, indicating that, yes, he would like some pancakes.

[Fredthefighter]

Okay, here, have some of my pancakes.
Johnny takes one of the pancakes off of his plate and gives it to the little Kitty. There is a big warm smile on his face.

[Kaelaroth]

Fairly, if not worryingly, quickly, the cat has promptly devoured the pancake, with quick, fast bites, utilising his pink diamante teeth to his full advantage.

There ya go little kitty.
Johnny tries to scritch the kitty behind the ears. Like how most people do with cats.

[Kaelaroth]

Kaela allows him to, purring happily as a new being gives him some affection. Of course.. now... The cat purrs even further, as, deep inside, its doomsday drive starts writing a new file.

Johnny just keeps scritching the kitty behind the ear with one hand while eating pancakes with the other.
There's a good kitty. Strange, I've never seen a pink and purple striped kitty with big smoking coals for eyes and diamante teeth before.

Kaela mewls happily at Jazirian, and then licks at Johnny with a black obsidian tongue.

Awwwww, I have a feeling we're going to be good friends little kitty.
Johnny stands up.
Well, I'm going to go exploring, you can come with me if you want little kitty.

[Kaelaroth]

The Kaela-kitty-cat nods in affirmation, and gets up to follow him, panting like a dog.
