Given that the Uncle Festy bandwagon started first, I would think that the opposing one was started by people who knew he was a mason, and were trying to protect him.

So I'm not really suspicious of deathslayer7, but I haven't decided yet who I am suspicious of.

i've my reasons why i point at people. reasons of which i'm not going to share with you, but reasons nonetheless. They may or may not be good reasons, hell they may not even exist, but i that is up to you to decide.

of these i find ranna to be most likely a mobster by reason being least suspicious acting especially with mountainfaerie teaching how to slyly pull out a win from the tomahawk incident

She looks over James' shoulder at the dark sky and shivers. "Steeler, huh? Dangerous work, I hear. Then again, these days, what isn't?" She glances around at the other patrons - the place is starting to empty. "Speaking of the killin' business, you wanna get outta here? My apartment's not far, but I really don't wanna walk alone. I can make it worth your while." She takes another drag from her cigarette and blows a smoke ring. She can't shake the image of Deathslayer7 from her mind...

James takes one of the cigarettes and lights it. He gives a little nod as he takes a drag. Yep. Just about as dangerous as walking down the street. He gives a quick glance around when she mentions the idea of leaving. Then he turns back to her and shrugs. Eh, why not. He quickly downs one more shot before standing up.

I'm a little suspicious of Ranna, and it might well prove interesting to lynch DS7, but I'm more suspicious of Helgraf.

Yesterday he pushed the Selrahc bandwagon when it was about the same distance ahead as the Uncle Festy and DS7 bandwagons.

Maybe he was trying to protect DS7 while not seeming suspicious by lynching Uncle Festy. Neither the Northside or Capone mob have lost their seers, so they could have scried Uncle Festy and were leaving him alive in the hope of finding other masons. Plus not wanting to jump on a mason bandwagon.

She heads east, away from downtown, which is where James may or may not remember her taking him before. She smiles apologetically. "I keep a place downtown for customers. My place is on the outskirts. It's quieter out here." She walks quickly, then remembers to slow a bit for her companion to keep pace.

The_Rogue_Monk smirks back at Trixie. "The Capones have a little saying, 'The bigger they are, the harder they fall,' that applies here. What's the fun in simply killing you all at once? No, it's much better to give you the impression that your sad little mob might have a chance—toy with you for a while—before bringing our full might to bear. You should be glad to know that at least you won't get lonely."

I myself find Shadowcaller, Helgraf, and Dirk suspicious. Look at their voting patterns. They all point at each other, and then now they are kind of working together.

((I initially pointed at Helgraf for laughs, since he decided NOT to RP with me. And while I can't speak for the other 2 gentlemen, I can assure you that I am not a mobster.))

The city eats its own. Its best and brightest. Its bravest and fools together. Rich men, consumed by greed, caught up in rivalries. Poor men, struck down by other poor men for the little they have. I suspect such may be my fate some day. Hopefully, none too soon.

There'd be another body added to the total today... The mob didn't accept little details like "probable cause" and "beyond reasonable doubt" before administering their kind of justice. There were questions... always questions... but the key to finding answers... Well, if I'd had that, I wouldn't be in this mess. I might still be writing. I might not, but at least be off the streets. Best to be forgotten. The forgotten can live, if they are willing to be dead to the world. Better for ranna to remember that. Best for me to decide if it's worth it to be dead to the world to be alive to myself. I could never write decisive characters well... Because I wasn't one and had trouble writing what I wasn't. Now, I just have trouble writing anything.

James follows, looking around as they walk, like he usually does. He likes sightseeing, even if he knows the place so well he could draw a picture with his eyes closed. Yeah, downtown's always bustling. Even late at night. A thought occurs to him. Although, nowadays, who knows.

Liriel stared at her date. They were chatting away having dinner, but her mind wasn't on the conversation at hand. She glanced out the window. Two cars were parked on the other side of the street. She knew enough to recognize the danger. She pulled out a piece of paper and wrote a note on it.

She then interrupted the man while he was speaking.

Could you please take this to that car over there? she said, pointing at the black sedan.

He looked at her for a moment, then nodded. As he went outside, she pulled out a pill hidden inside her shirt and gulped it down. Then she waited. Her hopes weren't crushed.

Within a few minutes a man in a suit sat down at her table.

Don't try to run. You won't get very far.

The thought never crossed my mind.

Good. Now tell me what I want to know. Who is your boss?

I can't tell you that. If I did, I would be killed painfully for betraying them.

You could go to jail for life for all the crimes you've been involved in. But that doesn't have to happen. Tell me what I want to know, and I can cut you a deal.

I don't think that is going to happen.

The man sighed. Ready to go to jail then? he asked standing up.

Not quite.

After she made no attempt to move, he grabbed her by the arm and dragged her up. As he let go, she slumped to the floor.

Damn! he cursed.

She smiled up from the floor. Some call it the easy way out, but I like to think of it as loyalty to the end.

While waiting being transferred to the lockup, Liriel saw a ghostly apparation...

Additional update for Day 6...

He was very proud to be hired as an election official!

He cut through an alley way on the way to the polling station, an election was coming. Nominations needed to be in by the End of Day 7 for the election on Day 8.

With the most recent arrest of a Northside Gangster, maybe some honesty would be coming back to the city.

He heard a voice from behind.

"Hey. Are you going to help us keep the vote going the right way? We have a lot of dead people that want to vote early and often."

"What!? No! This is going to be an honest election!"

"Ok. Then we're going to honestly win no matter what it takes, or who get's hurt."
