She made it actually. She took bilbo's face from that one LotR scene and pasted it over a picture nameless had put up of himself.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIII
Illustrator update:
It works pretty nicely, but lacks a number of the functions found in Inkscape, such as a blur tool and many of the node options. You also can't seem to add handles to a node that didn't start off with them.
e: oh wait there's a separate tool for that. It's still not as handy.
e2: Also, why can't it use hexadecimal colours like decent people?Last edited by Ninja Chocobo; 2009-02-12 at 04:29 AM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIII
My last comic gave me the idea of having the entire NPC village of kobolds (50 minor NPC's and 3-5 major) work for the resistance (but useless in combat since they where peaceful before, but they might serve as workers ad repair crew mens) and change the backstory of Argonath and Flayon so that Keveak and a few others held back whatever destroyed their island, but that might be a bad idea. Opinions?Nah I'll just have the farmers (the two you've seen not all the others) and Ignotus have survived too.Last edited by Mina Kobold; 2009-02-12 at 08:02 AM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIII
It ain't
perlpork(whatever you call it) unless intended by Nameless, it could be for fun he had her land on the blind guy (like when I landed on and broke Nameless spine) or it could be what you say (likely, he IS the guy who made the ABR house of horror. *makes the cross sign to avoid evil*) So give Nameless a chance, he might just be joking.Treasured Quotes

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIII
What version of Illustrator do you have ? In CS3 (and CS4, probably), you have very advanced blur tools, located in Effects - Blur. The one you are probably looking for is the Gaussian Blur.
What do you mean it can't use hexadecimal colours correctly ? When you click on Fill, at the end of the Tools Window, another window should appear, and you can type the hexadecimal colour near the "#".

Well, there's also this one, but it doesn't really count.
Besides, the red, yellow, and black one is the scariest in my opinion. If you want a OotS style Touhou avatar, send me a request.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIII
Ah, yes, but it can't blur the stroke by itself, and it rasterises the whole object. And it can't handle anything with the stroke blurred. This made more sense in my head. Let's try again.
It's easier and quicker to do in Inkscape, and while it may take much less time to zoom and create much less lag it also doesn't look any good at >100%. Since I generally work at ~400%, this is important.
Oh, I see. Yes, that's much better. Also I had to double-click.
However, there are a number of things I do like about it.I am the golden shadow. I am the Ninja Chocobo
Avatar by me.
