Okay. It's basically an outline of Jazirian's abilities.
Jazirian sighs with relief, and goes to make pizza! Properly, this time.Originally Posted by Lord Magtok

Re: GLoG 19: For those who can't make it over the rainbow
((. . . I approve of that post. I like that post. And it's a very, very good design.
Enough that, since Zoe is still young/small/new enough, if you want him to tell/teach her about it, (And, conveniently, telling me more about it) I could switch her to it, as the D&D dragons are . . . somewhat lacking.))
Proper, in this case, meaning . . . .?
Anyway, she follows.Last edited by Mee; 2009-02-13 at 11:38 PM.

Meaning not setting the oven to 700 degrees.
There's instructions on pizza boxes for a reason.

Re: GLoG 19: For those who can't make it over the rainbow
Crodelus approaches the front door and pauses, not quite as certain as he was when he left the taverna. He reminds himself that he's not back at home, and slowly raises his fist and knocks on the door three times.

She breathes on it, cooling it down, then starts to eat.
She doesn't hear the knocking on the door.
He could try harder . . .

Re: GLoG 19: For those who can't make it over the rainbow
Zoe does, in fact, hear it. However, she's busy eating.
But, trying to be nice, she crams the last of the pizza into her mouth, then goes to the door.
She hops up, and looks out the viewing window.
So, Crody will (If he's looking) see a very small dragon head looking at him.

Re: GLoG 19: For those who can't make it over the rainbow
Crodelus wonders why nobody is answering the door, then realizes that most of the league must be involved in preventing the threat to all existence he's heard mentioned in the taverna. He looks around, wondering how long he would have to wait or if there was some way he could help to solve this himself, and notices Zoe's head in the window. Still slightly uncertain, he asks "Can you let me in?"

She's young, and susceptible, so even if he shouldn't be here, he could probably talk her into letting him in.

Mmmkay, she'll let him in if he asks her nicely, as she is somewhat naive.
I'm saying this, since I have to deadtime.
And I have no idea when I'll be back.
Might be tomorrow, might be a few weeks.
No idea.
Goodnight, all.

Thanks to the wonders of enhance dperception and audio survailance, Alexander stops his work, and runs down to the front door, opening it for the person seeking interest, hastilly stowing the implant he was working on in one of his N-spacers.
He arrives at the front door with an open and bleeding left hand.
"Threat to all existance? Talking is reccomend, comming in is fine."
He opens the door for the man outside.

"I can try and answer your questions," Turtle says as she walks in. "There's a lich who wants to destroy the universe. We want to send one team after his phylactery, and another one after him, and try to destroy both at the same time."

Re: GLoG 19: For those who can't make it over the rainbow
the words "Lich" and "phylactery" mean nothing to Crodelus, but he understands that one probably means something like "the person who wants to annihilate everything" and the other probably means "the thing we need to break to save the world".
"I'd gladly help with either as well." he agreesAvatar by Vulion. Vectored by me.

Re: GLoG 19: For those who can't make it over the rainbow
In the middle of a hallway, perhaps empty, there appeared a great white wooden door. It had no walls to connect it, and looked, for all the world, like a normal door standing in the middle of the hallway.

You must suffer through the intricacy of feeling too much"

Re: GLoG 19: For those who can't make it over the rainbow
No. I'm.. I did most of them earlier. Vorka says. He places, quietly, a number of artifacts on the floor - three concentric circles of burning candles, which sibillantly release faint black smoke, scented, into the normally-pure air, surround a much smaller ring of sacred stones, which glow faintly blue in the smoke about them, and (after giving a slightly nervous look to Happy) the paladin steps inside this smaller ring, book outstretched in his arms before him. Closing his eyes for a few seconds, preparing himself, Vorka starts to mumble a few words, before opening his eyes to more carefully read out the script written ever so flowingly across the dark vellum pages before him. Although much of what he's reciting seems to be written in some long-forgotten, dark tongue, a few words, most notably the name of the lich himself, appear familiar in his words.
About a minute in, Vorka pauses. And coughs, faintly, pathetically, before struggling to carry on, his veins slightly prounounced on his tanned, handsome face. Another pause falls, and he coughs again, almost retching, now.
I can do this. He mutters to himself, almost breaking the spell, before remembering himself, quickly, well aware of the dangers of ceasing a spell too early. Then, with a burst of pain, he finishes, climaxes, the spell. Perhaps, actually, too early.
The knight falls, like a lemming to the sea, straight onto the floor, smashing into the candles, perhaps setting himself and some other things on fire, his book snapping shut as it falls to safety. Worryingly.
And, yet, even if there were mishaps, the spell works. All that needs to be seen is how well it works.
And if Vorka will survive, veins creeping across his face, unnaturally.
