I recently read the Giant's articles on world building. I found them very enlightening. Were they ever discussed on this forum? Is the Giant planning to continue them?

All of the articles here are awesome, but they're just not updated anymore. I wish they were.

I know, man. Especially so, since we get a bit of a glimpse into Mr. Burlew's ideas for campaign settings. It's the next best thing to seeing his entry into the Campaign Setting Competition, since heck will probably freeze over before Wizards publishes it.
