Re: Famous Avatars?
Was hoping I wouldn't be the first one to mention two banned posters and Tippy (who hasn't hung around much since the first two left?)
Also, Brickwall
Among the living, I recognize Bor, Roland, Rawhide... Actually, a lot of avatars stand out for me, Quincunx (spelling?!), Moff Chumley (convenient, eh?), Dallas-Sneakota (same person now, sorry. Can't be helped, you brought it on yourselves), Jack Squat (the flowery shirt man!), RTG0922... Zeful, um... Serpentine, Syka, it's strange, certain people who have a standard Avi actually own that avi in my mind... Like Curmudgeon, remember Curmudgeon? Used the Assassin avatar? And... draz74, he owns the pirate avi, and Giacomo, I see swashbuckler and I think Giacomo...
Onasuma's hammer guy, Cobra Ikari, Thes Hunter.
I think that's finally it...
Wait! Lord Lorac Silvanos!I am continuing to have a social life. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Serious-Jedi-Me-Avatar by RTG0922. Thanks. Cat-assassin-avatar by onasuma, who I was too dumb to thank. Thanks for that too!

Re: Famous Avatars?
Noone's mentioned Quincunx?
I recognize her avatars a mile away, and they're so...unique to her.

Re: Famous Avatars?
Quite a few people have, actually.
And Quincunx, have you read the book Quincunx?
Is that where you got your name from?

Re: Famous Avatars?
D-D and Sneak used to be easily recognizable... then they did something silly, and then Sneak apparently joined the Gender Bender week craze, so now I have no idea what's going on.
Lady Serpentine's classic avatar, of course; the various faces of the Vorpal Tribble; Fax's old fiddling avatar, Krimm's Graz'zt, Em's avatar, Ego Slayer's recent black-dressed one... most of the mods and admins, of course...
Big list, actually.Need a place to hang? Like Discord? Don't mind dealing with a capricious demon lord? Then you're welcome to join our LGBTQ+ friendly, often silly, very geeky server to discuss food, music, video games, tabletop, and much more.

Re: Famous Avatars?
I've been following Mordokai's descent into evil (sexy, genderswapped evil) via avatar changes. And so many others are unforgettable... Serpentine, Phase... actually, I agree with almost all those that have been posted in this thread.
I can't really settle on a visual identity long enough to build up any recognition.Current Games:

Re: Famous Avatars?
What Sneak said. ^^
And I don't mind, also, don't you read our posts? Our posting styles are pretty different....
Also Dallas-Sneakota? That's a new one...
Dallas-Dakota.
You prolly did not remember it because its a really random name and is not related to my avatar.
We love confusing.
Also, even in that, we match. ^^

An excellent suggestion. I was almost going down the line to pulling out a sousaphone again...

Re: Famous Avatars?
You will all rue the day you left me off the list.
For now I'll be playing the dagger of democles game. What's my evil scheme? The next time you have a birthday thread I will ensure that one of my agents posts that infamous "closer to death" comic in it. Bwahaha!

Re: Famous Avatars?
I tend to look at the avatar first and then the name second, so most people with a regular avatar are just as much the avatar as the name to me.

Re: Famous Avatars?
There are so many distinct avatars here. The closest to me are Saint Nil, D_Lord, and Coplantor. I'm sure there are many others. And Mordokai, poor Mordokai... His baby avatar was sooo cute!
