GLoG 20/XX: Twenty Times the Awesome

Wenomir sighs. He's forgotten that Butler doesn't get metaphors, but Decker's smell is unnerving. By "backwater" I mean that it was small, poor and generally unimportant.

[Reinholdt]

Butler is all crestfallen. He was going to get to go to the beach. "Oh, I see sir. I'm sorry sir." He doesn't get why such a strange word would mean poor and small, but whatever.

[Morty]

No problem. I'm sure you'll get to go to the beach somewhere else, the demonhunter adds. Which is a rather strange level of insight for his standards.

[Reinholdt]

He nods.
"Now if you'll excuse me sir, I really need to get cleaned up sir." Being covered in color gunk is only so much fun. And now that the base is all clean he can be too. It's off to the showers with Butler!

He's not really sure what Decker's doing. Supposedly still zig-zagging about.

[Kaelaroth]

Czernov, who's busy conducting tests to try and isolate the energy signatures of those he'd inavertedly pushed in from other dimensions, wanders into the infirmary to look for a DNA scanner. Seeing Irene, he pauses. Um. Hallo?

[Reinholdt]

Irene sits up and looks at him. "Oh hi. Ummm..." She's sort of unsure of what to do next. She's not going anywhere yet, that's certain.

[Kaelaroth]

Um. Can I, um, halp you, um, with something? Czernov asks, raising an eyebrow. If I, um, knew who you were.. It should be clear from the glasses hanging on a cord round his neck, the piles of books tucked under one arm, and the complicated DNA scanning doo-dah in the other, that he's a sciencey type.

[Reinholdt]

"I'm not entirely sure myself. But I know I'm called Irene." She smiles nervously. "And I could really go for some food right now."

[Kaelaroth]

Um. All right. Noting her race, identifying her via her ears, fur, and doggy-tag that also denoted Butler as a catboy, Czernov quickly types something into a drone. Swiftly, a salmon sandwich with salad is delivered, as Czernov checks her medical chart.

[Reinholdt]

"Oh thank you!" She digs in.

Chart says Irene has a heavy concussion with obvious amnesia. There are marking around her neck to indicate that a collar was worn there for many years, though it seems to be missing now. She was malnourished from lack of food it seems. Also some minor scrapes, bruises, and cuts, origins unknown. Fortunately doesn't seem to be dehydrated.

Czernov, will briefly make small talk (nothing more important than "can I get you anything", and "how is the sandwich"), as he gives the drones authority to give her prescription brain damage recuperative drugs, and also suggests a variety of brain scans, to both the catgirl and the medical robots. However, he has to deadtime, and, so, making the excuse of taking her plate to be washed up, he departs, leaving Irene's player to decide whether he brought her anything, and whether the drones start any serious medical blingage procedure.

Faust shuffles out of his room, his good eye wide, looking somewhat dazed and confused. He raises his flask to his lips and takes a short sip, his arm shuddering slightly like a junkie waiting for a fix.

Butler is returning from the showers.

Irene is still in the infirmary.

Nikolai finally left the room she had been hiding in for the past few days, sighing slowly, her hazel eyes trained on the floors.
Her tuscan red hair is slightly tousled from sleep.

Faust sees Nikolai and smiles. Hello Nikolai. How are you today? Faust's voice sounds sort of tired. Fool the cameras. Get out with the girl. Don't let them suspect anything.

Her glance shot up from the floor, wide eyed at Faust. She still wasn't used to his act.
"I'm f-f-fine, F-er, Rayd." How odd to call him by that name...

Faust raises a hand to his face and pushes a stray hair from his eyes. Good. I was wondering if you'd like to go out to get something to eat? He asks politely.

[Beans]

Quaezel undeadtimes, sums up the situation, and swiftly gives the other two plenty of space---she'd rather not intrude.

Translation in Nikolai's mind: UR GOING TO GETZ ET.
Even so, Nikolai nodded slowly, biting her lip unconsciously.
"I'd like that very much." The better the act, the less angry Faust would likely be with her...

[Reinholdt]

Butler comes back towards the members' quarters hall and spots Faust and Nikolai. He smiles warmly, approaches them, and bows. "Hello sir. Hello ma'am. How are you today, sir, ma'am? Can I get anything for you sir, ma'am?"

Faust smiles at Butler. Hello Butler! We're very good, thank you for asking, but no, I don't think there's anything you could get us. We were just leaving.

Nikolai managed a weak, shy smile for Butler.
"Goodbye, Mr. Butler. Have a nice evening." Her heart thuds as she looks at him, realizing he could very well end up dead soon enough.

[Reinholdt]

"Oh you are sir?" Butler looks at Nikolai and smiles. "Well have a nice time sir, ma'am. Where are you going sir, ma'am?" Butler hopes it's not the beach. He wanted to go to the beach with everyone.

Out to get some dinner. I know a great little restaurant on the outskirts of town. Faust holds his smile, and reaches down to take on of Nikolai's hands in his own. Goodnight Butler. Faust begins to lead Nikolai out of the base, unless stopped. Once he's off the grounds, he teleports the two of them.

Nikolai blushed, glancing down at her hand in his in disbelief, though she doesn't stop him.

Butler wants to know the restaurant name so he can take Decker and Vidalia someday, but he can ask when they get back. "Have a nice night ma'am, sir." He bows to them as they leave.

Nikolai may find Eggbert hopping into her pocket as they head out. It's technically tied to her now anyways. It loves it's momma.

Runner undeadtimes in the infirmary. Seeing Irene still there, he smiles a little. Hello, Irene. Are you feeling any better?

[Reinholdt]

"Yes thank you." Still needs MOAR food. But she'll live.

Speaking of food... *player runs off to eat*

That is good. Runner glances at the drones for a moment. Well, I have some things I must do. If you need me, just ask one of these drones. They can summon me through the computer system. And with that, Runner goes into the hall.
