I'd hate to have to perform and get recorded. I'm doing something very vaguely similar, but it's a French oral. Joy.

My fingers slipped a few times because my hands were shaking for the entire 15 minutes I had to play for. I didn't stop, though. I just tried to carry on as if I didn't make the mistakes. I think it went well, though.

Hopefully the essay we had to write will pick up some marks too.

OOh, I hate it when that happens. I frequently buy pitas from a place near here, and sometimes it all gets pushed to one side, so I have to pick whether I want veggies or meat first. When it doesn't, though, and really even if it does, the pitas are damn tasty.

I had an oral commentary today. It was bad. That is all.
Can't expect higher than a D.
And on written commentaries, A's are the norm.
I can use a very small amount of time, and, when writing, make some fairly good stuff come from it. But speaking... is another matter.

I suppose I did own my theory test today for driver's ed, though.

But it's Queen without Freddy Mercury. And the drummer guy whose name I always forget (Roger Taylor, apparently). It just isn't Queen without those two.

I also wonder if they will play The Invisible Man. It's just not a good tribute night if you don't have The Invisible Man.

I thought the whole point of Spring Break was to "take a break."

The only things that my dad has said to me since I got back yesterday has always involved one of the following:

1. tells nags me to look for a job.
2. nags me about school (which is going completely fine).
3. complains about me wearing goggles (because apparently wearing goggles around my neck is a sin against God).

I know I need to find a job for summer, but he's obviously been living under a rock for the past year, because it's hard to find one these days.

How can I only be one day into my vacation, and already be sick of it?

Ultimately, the impression that I am getting is that they want you to be an individual, as long as you behave just like everyone else.

I'm all for expressing creativity and individualism, I quite like and encourage the fanciful, alliterative, funny and/or creative titles (I have even encouraged the dropping of the words "Random Banter" for something more alliterative on a couple of occasions), but can no one else see the expression that exists in this title?

Honestly, I don't see why people are making a big deal out of the title. It's just a title. As long as people can figure out that it's the Random Banter thread, then it shouldn't really matter. The current title serves its purpose, so all of this arguing is pointless. Let's just go back to randomly bantering.

By reverting to the stark, spartan "Random Banter #117", the thread title is a biting nihilist commentary on our need to socialize. By reducing the title to its barest component elements, without a hint of personality, the thread title highlights the banal meaninglessness of our endless, substanceless rants and banter.

Personally, I admire its purity of expression. I'd like to give the artist in question an obscene amount of money and the opportunity to create further works, thus providing me with the opportunity to overanalyze more ridiculous crap until everyone wants to cram an "installation piece" down my piehole.
