To settle all of this, I have but one thing to say: D&D Rules mean NOTHING to me! I'll break what I want, seeing as this is my comic. The Elf was just an example.

It can be anything you want.

OK, I dunno what ABR's rules are, but do you have to use standard elves and standard rules? If not, I'd just say that in this setting, elves mature much closer to the rate of humans. That's how it goes in my homebrew world.

(I kept reading after this post and I see other people agree with me. Indeed, go with your own rules as long as they make sense and are consistent. )

And this comic wasn't made for the setting, I'll try to keep it in boundaries, though. Heck, I didn't even make it for the fans, if there are any.

I've gone from childhood to TEN years in the future. Pay attention, please. Ignorance is annoyance (For me at least.) And the childhood part was just to introduce the two. Sort of a flashback.

In Avbaroy, High Elves mature at the same rate as those of D&D (thanks to magical intervention), but Wood, Wild and Grey Elves mature at the same rate as humans.

ABR standard world (Avbaroy) doesn't use any role-playing rules, and we have our own setting. See the wiki.
