RHL & DD:
Both have only pointed twice, on days 2 and 4, thus avoiding autolynch.
Rabbit pointed at Trixie both times, both times words to the effect of 'because she felt like it'. On the other hand, apparently this is how she usually plays in WW games.
DD on day 2 followed FC's assertion regarding horngeek, on day 4 Trixie. Bandwagons both times.

Just a random reply : I've not been keeping track of this game. I was gone for the weekend. Also, I may miss the occasional day because I'm busy studying for exams.

Day 5 over.

With the loss of one of their beloved Scotland Yard officers - OK, not really beloved, but still - the citizens of Whitechapel redouble their efforts to apprehend Jack. Neighbors and longtime friends, even family members, all point at one another like strangers passing in the dark. The hurt feelings and bruised egos will heal and all be worth it, if only...

"Aha! Look - this guy has a pistol! And bruises on his hands and...gunpowder!"
Quickly the mob surges on the gentleman in the long cloak, his face hidden from view. The Londoner who called him out has a firm grip on his hand, which he is furiously jerking, trying to free himself. Everyone can see a shiny silver ring glinting in the light with some sort of emblem, but the man's movements are too jerky to give them a clear view.
"Oh, God - someone has killed another woman!"
The crowd momentarily forgets about their target as they look towards the voice. There is a scuffle and a scream, and everyone's attention returns to where hap_hazard is - or was. All that's left is a small puddle of blood and the silver ring. A member of Scotland Yard rushes over and picks up the ring. There is an audible gasp as it is held high and everyone in the crowd recognizes the symbol.

The ring bears the standard of the Sacred Brotherhood of Stonemasons. The true implications of it settle over the crowd as the villagers trudge home, their moment of victory dampened by the realization Jack is not working alone.

November 9, 1888

It is a cool, clear night - pleasant, it would be, if not for the fear of Jack the Ripper on the streets.

A pretty gal, Thufir, walks the streets, ashamed of what she must do to feed herself, but doing it all the same. She has long blonde hair and bright blue eyes. She wears a red shawl over her shoulders and her trademark white apron, kept spotless. Those who know her smile and waves and talk once she's gone of the stories she's told - of going to Paris and riding in a carriage, of her family's wealth back in Ireland. Mary Jane Kelly, pleasant when she wasn't drunk - a hooker with a heart of gold. She took in others when they were too poor to rent a room, and warned young girls, "Whatever you do, don't you do wrong and turn out as I did."

Around 11:00 PM, she is spotted with a man with a dark mustache. He appears to be well-dressed and in his mid-30's. Mary Jane is uspet about losing her handkerchief, and he gives her a red one to replace it. Delighted, they head for her room. At around 11:45, they arrive. A neighbor tells her goodnight, and she replies. "Goodnight, I am going to sing." Soon, the haunting tune of "A Violet From Mother's Grave" is heard throughout the slums. She has some fish and potatos with the man and is never seen again.

4:00 AM "Oh, murder!" A cry rings out - but these cries are fairly common and usually unfounded, so it is ignored.

Around 10:00 AM, a knock sounds on Mary Jane's door. When it is not answered, the caller pulls aside the curtains and makes the most grisly discovery yet.

Inside lays the body of Mary Jane Kelly, the arms removed and placed next to the body. The face is cut and mutilated beyond all recognition. The abdomen is cut cleanly open, the innards spread around the body in a horrific display. It seems Jack is back with a vengeance. Upon closer inspection, the heart is found to be missing.

Across town, as he retires for the day, Jack carries a small bundle, still dripping crimson blood. It is - or was - a white apron, wrapped around a small, cooling heart. He smiles triumphantly as he cradles his prize.

The Stonemasons have to clean up after him. They glance at one another, not saying anything, but all sharing the same thoughts. Jack is getting far more dangerous than they could have imagined. His carelessness could cost them all.

He first got us to kill a mason, then when that worked, he created a network. That night phase the seer/fool died. And now, masons are dying right and left. There is something funny going on here, and I think i know what it is.
