I consider myself lucky that we have four used bookstores in town, all within a 5-10 minute drive for me depending on traffic.

They are always the best! I love getting some nice paperbacks for only $.50 to $4.00 a piece.

How do you live with just four?

In one street we have Cancer Research UK, Barnados, Oxfam, Scope and an independant rare and common used book shops. The first four are all charity shops.
On the main street we have three more charity shops and WHSmiths and our School Librarian Shop where I get sweet discounts.
On the off streets are . . . four more charity shops/used book shops. Oh, and a sucky library.
In my village is another charity shop.
Prices range from 25p to £2.50 for normal stuff. For the rarities we're looking at upwards of a tenner.

I need to access my college intranet to get to the listening file I need for homework.
Only for some frigging reason some cocksure tenchnician pissed around with how you access the damn intranet meaning I can't even get onto the goddamned site, let alone onto the teacher's published file to get the shite I bloody well need!
And I had every friggin' intention of doing this listening! For for first time in weeks!
I'm even swearing!

That sounds very bad indeed. I'll just step out of the way here.
Also, not many people at my school read, even the library is quite small compared to the library next to the church that's about 5mins drive away. Even my best friend says he doesn't read, then again, I don't think he'd have time. He does Karate three times a week, band practice twice a week, drum lessons once a week, manages to do his homework and still revises for the upcoming exams. I don't know how he does it.

In other news, I've been invited to a 4e D&D game that will take place on Saturdays. It'll be my first D&D game with people I can see across a table rather than across the internet. My dad will be there with me, but I know it will be fun. (My dad used to play 1st edition D&D. )
