Mixed connotations? Why, whatever do you mean by that, my good man/moon?

Re: Dragonprime's Dynamically Dangerous Dextrous and Destructive Random Banter #118
Is . . . is . . . is that all?!?!
But.
But.
And the cost!
How do you live with just four?
In one street we have Cancer Research UK, Barnados, Oxfam, Scope and an independant rare and common used book shops. The first four are all charity shops.
On the main street we have three more charity shops and WHSmiths and our School Librarian Shop where I get sweet discounts.
On the off streets are . . . four more charity shops/used book shops. Oh, and a sucky library.
In my village is another charity shop.
Prices range from 25p to Ł2.50 for normal stuff. For the rarities we're looking at upwards of a tenner.
Honestly.
Such a lack of bookshops.
*tsks*
SO!
Strange stuff happened today. All about French.
One: I have managed to work Jedis (twice!), pastafarianism and Cthulu into my oral topic legitimately, and it's not even about the internet. And it's only the rough ideas stage too.
Two: my brother's going to be doing my French homework for me again.

Re: Dragonprime's Dynamically Dangerous Dextrous and Destructive Random Banter #118
It's called tutoring. If he can do my level he can do his level.
Push 'em til they're one step away from jumping and leave them there, crying and screaming as they listen to the abyss calling and whispering seductively.
Just one more step . . .
One more . . .
Barbarians.
No imagination.
Now for a recently discovered conundrum:
I need to access my college intranet to get to the listening file I need for homework.
Only for some frigging reason some cocksure tenchnician pissed around with how you access the damn intranet meaning I can't even get onto the goddamned site, let alone onto the teacher's published file to get the shite I bloody well need!
And I had every friggin' intention of doing this listening! For for first time in weeks!
I'm even swearing!Last edited by CurlyKitGirl; 2009-03-26 at 02:06 PM.

Why you little! I'll mace you good! Or in this case "I'll sword you good".
When my avatar has a beard, you complain about the beard, when it doesn't have a beard, you complain about it not having a beard. The one with the beard is in my sig, two of the avatars in my sig have beards to be a little more specific. I have two avatars with beards and two without.

Oh greatest of the mass media, thank you for elevating emotion, reducing thought, and stifling imagination. Thank you for the artificiality of quick solutions and for the insidious manipulation of human desires for commercial purposes. This bowl of lukewarm tapioca represents my brain. I offer it in humble sacrifice. Bestow thy flickering light forever.

Hey Fred?
You know that you are not a D&D character, right? You know that you are not a 117x117 pixel digital drawing, right? You know that you are a human being whose skills, talents, strengths, and desires are not quantifiable in numbers on a calibrated piece of paper for a game, right?
Or are you?

Re: Dragonprime's Dynamically Dangerous Dextrous and Destructive Random Banter #118
Sorry, I got a little angry there. I tend to slip into game terms when I'm angry on the internet. Sorry about that.
Dallas, are you thinking of the Star Wars Tieflings?
Dragonprime, what you're thinking of isn't what I mean. God it was so much easier with an axe, there were no double entendres.
In other news, I've been invited to a 4e D&D game that will take place on Saturdays. It'll be my first D&D game with people I can see across a table rather than across the internet. My dad will be there with me, but I know it will be fun. (My dad used to play 1st edition D&D. )Last edited by Fredthefighter; 2009-03-26 at 03:14 PM.
