Ignore the noise. I can read while literally deafening myself with ridiculously loud classical and '70 - '80s music, a house full of crazies, two Boeing 747s mascarading as dogs and a cat who could probably shatter glass if she felt like it.
You need to hone your powers of concentration.

Sometimes I swear I'm practically zen when it comes to books, I can block out anything. But of a problem when I'm reading in class.

Yeah, I thought it was terrific. Both the characters and the story - and the open-endedness of the finish.

I'll be eighteen in August. Seems like there are a LOT of people round here in the 16-17-18 range...but maybe an equal number in the 20-25. *shrugs* guess I just notice when folks are my age.
