Our first child, Finnegan Thomas, was born Friday evening. He is beautiful and wonderful, and I'm learning that I've never understood the word "delight" until now.

Please, don't be offended if I don't respond to anything here in a timely manner; I'm more than a bit occupied helping both my son and my wife.

For those interested, pics can be found here. It's only four, and those free shots the hospital took, but a real post of snapshots is destined for my wife's Facebook. That's been a bit delayed, though....

We're back in the hospital to deal with some weight loss coupled with moderately severe jaundice. It's nothing dire, but it is does take some additional help for us. We'll be evicted again tomorrow, so perhaps soon...

I had longer hair years back and cut it short; when last I heard, all two-and-a-half feet of it had been attached to a handle and moved to California with a female friend-of-a-friend. I didn't ask any more questions, but I'm kinda jealous of my hair....
