Nah, Wanda has good fashion sense. She'll give his new toy clothes to properly suit him. We'll get to see Ansom in:

2-Overlord armor with big cape and huge pauldrons.
3-Samurai armor with standard katana.
4-Barbaric conan-like loin-cloth.
5-Rebel leather armor.
6-Suit with tie at la Mr.smith.

What's the Mary Sue troll doing on the Erf 156 thread, anyway? If BillyJimBoBob has a sincere desire to discuss it and not just troll, it belongs in its own thread.

My on topic thought... I'm bucking the trend of thinking Ansom will come back with his mind and personality totally intact but loyal to Wanda. It defies what we've learned of (admittedly, non-artifact) Croakamancy. I admit I also don't care for it as much as some people do; it's convoluted to kill a main character (and love interest), only to immediately bring him back as a super-special uncroaked to torment his past friends. Could happen though, given the power of artifacts.

At the very least I expect him to keep his full bonuses, and not decay like normal uncroaked. Maybe more discretion than other uncroaked warlords, but not all his memories or personality?

The big question is still Wanda's loyalty to Stanley (possible), and Stanley's willingness to let an underling hold "his" artifact (less likely). I'm thinking about the costume change in the previous page: possibly it's comparable to the logo change Wanda's mass uncroaked got when they came under Parson's command. In which case, Wanda's on her own side now, and Ansom's her first, and possibly chief, warlord. I can't wait to see his tabard. (I'm thinking she'll leave Parson, if the natural loyalty lies with Stanley, since it would beat taking on Parson and a thinkamancer to capture him.) Of course, we do know they pay attention to their outfits, so she might have just changed off-camera in the Magic Kingdom.
