Re: Tales of Kyou II: The Darkness (Game Thread)
It's not this game alone, though the way it's gone hasn't impressed me, it's a general malaise to be honest. I haven't properly enjoyed a WW game since Memesville...and that was quite some time ago. I'll continue to run games, and play a couple even, but I think I need to take a step back.

Re: Tales of Kyou II: The Darkness (Game Thread)
It was getting late, and a figure was hurrying on the street. He was in a hurry, and his footsteps were the only thing in the streets. The light was fading as he stepped into his home street.
It had taken too long, but he had finally finished the job and gotten paid, and now he was going to bring home enough money to feed the family for a week. No more dangerous business, he'd be locked up inside his home until someone did something about the murders.
As he arrived in front of his house, he breathed a sigh of relief. He took out his key and opened the door, stepping inside and turning to close it behind him.
"Hello there! Finally back?" Said a female voice from behind him. He turned, smiling. "Yeah, I got it done. I got the money, tomorrow we'll go buy food from the market and then we don't have to go outside before the killings end."
Her wife was also smiling, although he didn't notice that it looked somehow out-of-place. "So nice to hear that. I invited a neighbour over, if you don't mind."
The man gave his wife a puzzled look. They weren't on very good terms with their neighbours, they hardly even knew each other. Before he could say anything, a man walked into the room, behind his wife. "Nice to meet you, and I'll have to thank for the hospitality."
The man was somewhat surprised at the sudden situation, but stammered out a response. "Uh... right, hello, I guess."
Then her wife pulled out what she was holding behind her back. A kitchen knife, somehow the blade the man had often seen before seemed much more threatening. "Wait, what are you doing?"
The people standing in front of him grinned maliciously. "I believe you said you had the money?"
The man turned, attempting to open the door, but he had locked it, and before he could get it open, his wife plunged the knife into his back. A sharp, twisting pain, and he fell into darkness, not fighting it, feeling betrayed...
A while later, the wife woke up. The first thing she saw was the body of her husband, and her bloody hands, holding a knife. She screamed and fainted again.
Nearby, the neighbour heard the scream and grinned, his form shifting to reveal a small goblin-ish creature. The Amanojaku walked into the night, snickering.
Spoilerpondshadow was killed during the night, he was a Villager of Kyou.

Re: Tales of Kyou II: The Darkness (Game Thread)
Okay, I don't think we should waste another day lynching a neutral, and Recaiden's probably daybaned again, so how about we try and lynch someone the wolves aren't expecting us to.
Someone very sneaky and devious is leading the wolves, and I suspect my henchpixie.

Re: Tales of Kyou II: The Darkness (Game Thread)
Soon to switch to Recaiden, as was your plan all along?
I don't know whether Jontom helped the wolves or they just got lucky with Cessie. But we know he isn't a wolf.

Re: Tales of Kyou II: The Darkness (Game Thread)
No, I trust that you are once again protected. And my suspicion is on Jontom Xire.
Even though he's neutral, he's the most powerful and is very likely helping the wolves. Letting him live endangers us all.

What, only a vanilla villager this time? Shame on you Team Evil. No more "Go Team Evil" dances for you until you get back to killing name-brand villagers.

Mustiado. Every instinct I have screams he's a wolf, and recaiden is probably protected for the day.

Re: Tales of Kyou II: The Darkness (Game Thread)
A cool little trick, considering I haven't really done anything in this game, no?
Alright guys, someone stop me if I'm wrong here. Yes, Recaiden is daybaned. But until the day bane is exhausted again, I don't see someone else being day baned, especially since he knows we're gunning for him. Why are we not taking Recaiden out?
The more I talked that out, the more it sounded like a bad idea. I'll wait and see what else comes out today before pointing.

Re: Tales of Kyou II: The Darkness (Game Thread)
I scried someone I thought was likely to be a wolf last night. All I will know is if he is a villager or not. If he is a villager then Mustiado seems most supicious to me. If he isn't, then I need to ask someone who claims to be a mason if the person I scried is a mason or not. If not a mason then they are a wolf and we can lynch them.
Shadowcaller, can I please have the result of my night action ASAP.

Re: Tales of Kyou II: The Darkness (Game Thread)
Ok, I got my answer and so I'm pointing at Mustiado.
I made a little suspicions list and there were two names on it. One is guaranteed not a wolf. The other is Mustiado.
I'm not going into more detail because I don't want to help the wolves.
Btw, if I work it out right, there are 2 good guy power roles and 3 wolves left. Is that right? That leaves me and 8 villagers. Are my calculations correct?
==EDIT==
Btw, anyone else notice that the wolves killed a villager rather than a power role after we lynched Banjo? I think I have additional info that may indicate that he was in fact the guy feeding info to the wolves! So maybe we should have lynched Recaiden yesterday and Banjo today, but let's just lynch Recaiden tomorrow instead!Last edited by Jontom Xire; 2009-06-05 at 05:22 AM.

So which is it? You scried Mustiado as a wolf, or you scried mysterious other person as a not-wolf?

I thought my post was quite clear.
I scried someone I thought was likely to be a wolf last night. ... If he is a villager then Mustiado seems most supicious to me.
Therefore Mustiado is not the person I scried.
Straightforward logic, no?
To extend, if Mustiado is not the person I scried then therefore I "scried mysterious other person as a not-wolf", or to be more precise, either as a villager or as non-villager but my supposed mason contact confirmed them as not a wolf.

Re: Tales of Kyou II: The Darkness (Game Thread)
Also, just to add, starting tomorrow until Monday week I will be on holiday. I may log on and post, but then again I may be having far too much fun frolicking with a bevy of gorgeous, sexy, naked girls to bother. Or, more likely, too busy enjoying riding my motorbike, playing computer games, and building a couple of bookshelves.
Please don't auto-lynch me (or lynch me because you think my inactivity is suspicious).

Well, my contacts have him high on their suspect list, along with you and Recaiden, I may as well add.
Also, why not. It's better than lynching me.

Re: Tales of Kyou II: The Darkness (Game Thread)
I’m suddenly way less on board with this lynch mustiado plan now that JX is in support of it, but I suppose it’s also a good way to gather intel on whether he’s been misleading lynches.

Re: Tales of Kyou II: The Darkness (Game Thread)
We already know he is. He got the village to lynch Banjo because Jontom needed him dead for his win condition rather than because Banjo was a threat to the village.
Even if Banjo had fed information to the wolves, all people would have to do is stop telling Banjo stuff. He didn't have to be lynched, and it wasted a lynch day doing that. Especially after the village had spent two days trying to lynch Recaiden that were then wasted. My avatar! Isn't it just utterly diabolical? Ashen Lilies made it!

Re: Tales of Kyou II: The Darkness (Game Thread)
Yeah, if I turn out to be a wolf Jontom is dead. Possibly why he isn't voting for me. If he did, I might get lynched, be a wolf, and he kept me alive for 2 days. That would look really suspicious. And there's no reason it had to be an accident...
And what if Jontom was feeding info to the wolves and stopped after Banjo was killed to make himself look correct?

Good point. After all, the one piece of information that could be gotten from no one but Jontom was whether or not Cessie was being baned.

Re: Tales of Kyou II: The Darkness (Game Thread)
That's what I was thinking, but you started pointing at me, so I turned it on you.
So now I'm going after Mustiado, because Recaiden is likely protected.
Who do you think we should go after, Turtle?
