Daytime in Kyou is very different from the dark, quiet nights. The marketplace is bustling with people, and the noise is deafening. Money flows as things are bought and sold, services paid for and performed, broken things repaired and even enchanted.

In the middle of all this walked a man. He was wearing a cloak and a hood, and his eyes gazed piercingly at anyone getting too close. This was just great, being sent to such a filthy mudhole, filled to the brim with these disgusting apes.

As he was walking past a tavern, a drunken man stumbled outside. He bumped into the man, knocking him down. His hood shifted, revealing his long, elven ears.

"Oh, what have we got here? An elf, and in quite nice clothing. Where did you steal those?" The man remarked, seemingly not quite drunk enough to be incapable of understandable speech. "I think you're coming with me. They'll give me a reward for an escapen slave." He grabbed the arm of the elf, pulling him up forcibly.

Soon enough, he was proven to be drunk enough to be incapable of rational thought, though, namely when the elf raised his other hand with a threatening look. "Let me go right now, filth, or you won't like what happens."

The man laughed at him, raising his own arm for a punch. "What are you going to do, you're just some elf slave, running away from your master."

"I warned you. It seems you'll go a bit before the rest of your kin! Reorn!" He raised his arm higher to the sky. It started glowing blue.

By this time, the confrontation had gathered a crowd. "What is he doing?"

The drunken man let go of his hand and stepped back, but too late. The elf pointed his arm at him, and let loose a flash of lightning. There wasn't much left of his burnt corpse afterwards. The crowd gasped.

He was sure this show would give him an opportunity to escape through the scared crowd. It had been a bad idea to come to this place anyway. Why couldn't they just have waited, it'd have been the first one to go once the Legion was done...

But as he turned towards the crowd, he finally realized that they weren't retreating from her, scared. Rather, they were murmuring angrily. "He's the one behind the murders! Get him!"

"Stay back!" The elf shouted, stepping back himself, but the crowd surged over him...

He was ripped to pieces. The next night, the citizens of Kyou went to sleep, outwardly horrified at the event but in truth relieved, thinking the threat had been eliminated.

But it was not... not quite. They had dealt a blow, but it wasn't as damaging as they had hoped.

Sorry, peoples, but my computer was attacked by a particularly virulent malware two Wednesdays ago, so I wasn't around to see myself get lynched due to inactivity onset by said virus. I wasn't able to get on these forums again until today.

Anyways, I just felt that I should give a proper explanation to everybody.

Stop making me suspect FC was right. Tie votes benefit the wolves exclusively, seeing as they have the vote switcher and they would rather not have any lynches at all.

It gets boring repeating ourselves... we think you're a wolf. Whether or not this is true remains to be seen. As it is, I really think either the wolves have completely fooled the villagers and we're all doomed, or you're a wolf and the wolves are covering your ass very well.
