1.01 Let the Adventuring begin!

Lewyd quickly hops on top of Pavis' shoulders.

The two men manage to form a sort of human ladder for Bryan. They seem stable enough to climb.

Oh, man. I'm terrified of heights you guys. I'll try but don't get mad at me if I fall or something. I'm terrible at this sort of thing. Bryan climbs to the top of the human pyramid and jumps to grab edge of the hole in the ceiling.
Climb = 10
Letting out a wimper of fear, it takes a couple of seconds before Bryan is able to muster the courage to do anything other than hang there. He slowly pulls himself up over the edge of the hole to safety.

Curse my acrophobia, wait a minute.... Bryan pauses as he calms down enough to notice the warmth on his legs. He looks down to see Lewis and Pavis' now-much-more-yellow clothes and flinches. Oh loving poo poo!

Bryan manages to climb into some common room. He finds a few wooden tables and several wooden chairs nearby. Other than that nothing seems to stand out in the room. Looking out the window, he does note that he's managed to reach the ground floor.

Lewyd turns to Pavis.

You look like the strongest out of us. Give me a boost so Bryan up there can pull me up, then you jump up and the both of us can get you.

After he notices the yellow stains on his chest and pants, Lewyd makes a few sniffs before mumbling to himself.

Natural camouflage... it's perfect.

Hey Lewyd, can I have that giant hunk of metal you use as a shield for a moment?

[Anu]

Actually, I have a better idea. Why dosent someone toss him a rope so we can climb up rather than me keep holding you ontop of my shoulders!
Pavis sniffs the air
Whats that smell?

*oops*

Lewyd, grab my leg and hold me down this hole in the floor so I can grab Pavis. Then lend me your shield for a indeterminably small period of time!

Lewyd dangles Bryan down the hole, doubting the soundness of this plan. He then hands his sheet of metal to him.

[Thrawn183]

Bryan takes the shield and reaches for Pavis, but can't reach him. Curse my stubby limbs!

[inthesto]

I don't think you thought this one through very well.

[Anu]

I know! Grab and climb my riding lance! ... just try not to stab yourself on the pointy end ...

[inthesto]

Lewyd grabs the end of Pavis' weapon, creating a makeshift climbing apparatus. He forgets, however, that he is hold Bryan and lets him go, sending him crashing into the floor.

Luckily, the fall isn't to great and Bryan manages to land safely.

What is this foul smelling liquid on the floor!?.... Oh. Curses! Alright, let's try this again, super magical human pyramid spell go!

Lewyd turns into a pyramid, completely unable to move or communicate with his teammates.

[Anu]

Avast! That triangular ooze ate Lewyd! Where did it even come from!?!

Suddenly a brief feeling of terror washes over Pavis. What other vile monsters does the empire house within these confines?

Actually Pavis, I'm afraid I may have accidentally turned our friend into a pyramid. If we ever get out of here, I'll see what I can do about reversing the spell.

Each party member takes a moment to asses the situation.

Bryan is pretty sure that he accidentally polymorphed Lewyd into a pyramid. He can't imagine a more logical explanation.

Lewyd really isn't sure where he is. One moment he was in the upper room, the next moment he can't see, feel, or hear anything.

Pavis

Pavis is not sure whether Bryan some how managed to change Lewyd into a pyramid, or if some kind of pyramid monster managed to engulf Lewyd.

[Anu]

Pavis gently (or at least as gently as is possible with a riding lance) poked the pyramid to see if it reacts.

The pyramid seems to shift ever so slightly on it's on in reaction to Pavis's poke.

Lewyd feels a rather stiff poke as his senses slowly come back. He realizes he isn't a pyramid so much as he feels like he's inside pyramid. Bryan must have some how conjured a pyramid to surround Lewyd. Lewyd also soon realizes something is nibbling at his legs, which don't seem to be in the pyramid with rest of his body.

Lewyd flails around wildly to see if he can capsize his prison and maybe getting the chewing feeling off of his legs.

Pavis sets his spear for a charge once he sees the pyramid start to move.

Whoah there, lets take this slow. No need to kill someone on accident because we jumped the bow and arrow.

Bryan and Pavis

Bryan and Pavis watch above as the pyramid begins to hop up and down wildly. As they watch they notice the ceiling start to give way. It doesn't take long before the hopping pyramid comes crashing down. Pavis takes the opportunity to drive his lance into the supposed beast as hard as he can.

Pavis manages to run is lance into the massive monster. The pyramid writhes in pain. The two adventurers are quick to note that the pyramid seems to be split down the middle for some reason.

Lewyd's flailing manages to startle whatever is trying to him you. He continues to struggle against his assailant. Soon after, however, the ground under Lewyd gives way, and he feel himself falling to the the floor below. The poor adventurer is slammed into his prison as he lands. Whatever is at his legs releases its jaws for a moment but then quickly continues to try to devour Lewyd.

For Vengeance!!! For Lewyd!! shouts Pavis as he charges the pyramid, arms spread wide as if to embrace the vile creature.

It's splitting in half. This means it can double it's numbers almost instantly, if we don't kill it now they'll destroy the world in days!

Bryan draws an arrow and fires at the right-hand pyramid.

Bryan's arrow lodges itself into the pyramid. The pyramid appears to be seriously wounded...well as far as pyramids go anyway.

Again whatever is trying to eat you stops for a moment. Shortly after it continues its effort to digest you.

With a great warcry Pavis wraps his arms around the left most pyramid and squeezes.
