GLoG XXIV: This Ain't No House of Cards

Phoenix is. Well, semi-good quasi-combatant. He stumbles into the Detention Block, bow in hand, wheezing slightly from the spiritual pressure.
"Daisuke, please stop. I don't want to have to hurt you..."
Right now though, he's looking as if he's more afraid of being hurt himself. Or maybe not, as two Sec-III drones walk in on their three legs, training their four guns on Haisuke.

Shaking! It's enough to cause the already barely-standing DC to fall down.

Oof.... Didn't think GLoG had earthquakes...

He served in the military. He stands no chance against Haisuke, though. He tries to sprint away from Haisuke, to his room, to get his pistol.

A Sec-I drone floats into the infirmary.

"There is a member out of control in the Detention Blocks. Sufficient measures are being made to detain him."

"Great. Maybe we should take cover."

Because Kris-the-Player doesn't really want two characters involved in this fustercluck. And I doubt DC's in any condition to fight.

And they find out about a Shinigami ability called Shunpo.

Haisuke uses it to go between the two Sec-III drones, having tried to swipe both of them. And given the spiritual pressure behind this, it could penetrate.

DC grabs onto a nearby object (possibly the top of a bed or something) and is slowly getting to his feet.

The first one is swiped and sliced in half, but the second one takes only a surface wound, and fires its Magic Suppression Rays at Haisuke. A note on these, being hit by one of these rays (of which there are two) feels like being tazed, and drains (or suppresses) supernatural or magical capability, regardless of source. Of course, sufficient willpower (conveniently equal to that it would take to shrug off a tazing) allows you to shrug off the Suppression effect. And the tazing.

Phoenix is knocked into a wall by the force of the charge, and fires off an arrow, which breaks uselessly against a wall.
He hurriedly starts to nock another arrow.

DC is helped up. Yay.

Wenomir undeadtimes, his player deciding to try and give it a try after all, and heads to the source of the noise.

Marcos comes rushing back in. Merda! What's happening?! He yells to anyone that knows. His player knows, but he doesn't. Confused and scared by Haisuke, he runs out of GLoG. Real manly...

Sarcino is by the door finishing up his meal of cake and milk when all this craziness starts. He slowly wanders towards the source of the commotion.

Another battle, I simply haven't built characters to handle I suppose. Tricks pranks and death may ensue.

Marcos comes back in and avoids Haisuke. He goes to the kitchen.

Vicki is in the kitchen, making a sandwich.
She smiles at Marcos.
Hello. I'm Vicki, it's nice to meet you.
(Vicki is a 17 year old girl by the way)

He waves and gives a shy smile. Oi, my name's Doctor Marcos da Oliveria. You can call me Marcos, because, you know, it's shorter...

She smiles, it's a very nice smile.
And it's easier to say. So, how long have you been at the Good League of Good?

Um, well...I, I've only been here...since yesterday...what about you? He says, awkwardly.

I've been here about a week. It's a very nice place in my opinion. Are you enjoying your stay so far?
She smiles.
There's no need to feel awkward Marcos. There's no harm in talking to someone.

[Falgorn]

He sighs. It's not you, it's just...nevermind. I'm just...shy...yeah, that's the word. Just sorta shy around...girls. It sounds childish, I know, but...yeah. He begins to make a sandwich. Honestly, I haven't enjoed my stay. There are nice people here, but this morning I got attacked by a guy with a sword. I think it'll get better, though. It already has.

Vicki blushes slightly.
Vicki begins eating her ham sandwich.
A guy with a sword you say? That might be Daisuke. I think he's suffering from something, it's best to stay away from him for a little bit.
She smiles.

Yeah...that shouldn't be too hard...so, what are you? I mean, um, what do you do...like what's your profession...or job...yeah, what's your job here? He says, finishing his sandwich with Mayanese.

[Fredthefighter]

Well, technically I don't have a job, but I am a cleric of Ehlonna, who is a goddess of nature.
She smiles and finishes her sandwich.
I just live here. Most people just help out when help is needed though.

[Falgorn]

He smiles. That's nice to hear. Mind telling me why you came here? He says, taking a bite of his sandwich.

[Fredthefighter]

I just decided that I wanted to explore the multiverse. Maybe even spread the warmth of Ehlonna's grace. It just seemed like fun.
She shrugs and smiles.
What about you? Why did you come here? she asks politely.

[Falgorn]

He smiles back. Well, honestly, I came here so I could fix that problem I have. I want to help the world, being a small-time surgeon isn't enough. He says, taking a bite of his sandwich. He looks her over. Say, how old are you, anyways?

17. You?
She's still smiling and being very polite.

[Falgorn]

27. He laughs. I'm ten years older than you, it feels weird. So I was in college when you were in...what, 5th grade? In all seriosness, you're kinda cute for a high schooler.

She also laughs but also looks a little..... weirded out.
Thanks. Although if you're hitting on me, I'm going to have to decline, I mean, I was 7 when you were my age.
She's still saying things quite politely.
She tries to smile.

He puts his hands up in defense. No, of course not! I may have childish problems, but I'm not immature. Just giving credit where credit is owed.
