GLoG XXIV: This Ain't No House of Cards

[The Bushranger]

Quinn gets promptly knocked out cold by Haisuke's initial strike, and remains sprawled unconsious in the detention-block hallway.

[Falgorn]

Marcos, by chance. walks to the detention-block and notices Quinn. What the? He tries to get her up, using doctor techniques and magic.

[The Bushranger]

Herbert the Drone buzzes over.
Concerned Statement: Mistress Quinn seems to get knocked out often.
Helpful Suggestion: Perhaps she could be carried to the infirmary?

Quinn seems now to be uninjured, yet unconsious.

[Falgorn]

He looks at the drone, trying to pick up Quinn. Good idea. Would you mind telling me where it is? I'm new here, but I'm a doctor. He folows the drone to the infirmary, if it leads it there.

[The Bushranger]

Request: Please follow me!
And so Dronebert leads the way to the infirmary, where Quinn does what she does best: be unconsious.

[Falgorn]

Marcos lies her down on one of the infirmary beds. So, this is the Quinn I was told about? He asks Dronebert. Personally, I expected her to be conscious when I met her. He says jokingly. She seems uninjured, did you see what happened to her?

[The Bushranger]

Concerned Statement: Mistress Quinn seems to injure easily.
Answering of Question: She was attacked by the prisoner in the detention cell.
Herbert buzzes back and forth nervously as Quinn groans and starts to come around.

[Falgorn]

Marcos gives her a shy smile, he's unaware of her blindness. So, Sleeping Beauty's awake, eh? He says, noticing she woke.

[The Bushranger]

Yeah, again, Quinn mutters, putting a hand to her head and wincing. Although I'm not surprised. I might as well sleep in here on a regular basis.
Turning her head in Falgorn's general direction, she gets a quizzical look. I don't recognise your voice, have we met?

[Falgorn]

He blushes slightly. No, we haven't...I'm the new doctor here, I found you...knocked out in a hallway. I'm Doctor Marcos da Oliveria, and you are......Quinn, right? Oh, by the way, how are you eeling? Anything in particular hurt? He says, slightly embarassed.

[The Bushranger]

Ah...at least I won't have to worry about doing surgery now. The brown-haired woman chuckles softly, then winces. I'm Quinn, yes. And I think I thwacked my head good this time. Otherwise I guess I'm fine. She smiles, and he might notice her eyes don't appear to be focusing... [color=green]It's a pleasure to meet you.

[Falgorn]

Again, he blushes, and smiles awkwardly. You too... We should get some ice for your head....excuse me for asking this, but...are you blind, by any chance? He gets an ice pack and tries to put in on her forehead.

[The Bushranger]

Actually I am, and thank you.
She doesn't seem to notice the awkwardness as she reaches up to take the icepack.
I had an accident involving a nymph who wasn't able to control her abilities just like. Et viola, one blind paladin...

He sighs, and he seems to be at ease. That's...terrible. I could...you know, I could...try to fix it, I mean, reverse it, with surgery.

A swan with devil horns flies into the infirmary and plops down on KR's bed. Or DC's. Or a bed nearby.

"I'm so glad you're awake! Are you going to be okay? You missed all the fun. There was a rancor and a disco ball! I think I'm going to join, so we can all live here together."

((Ah, hilarity always ensues whenever a fight gets deadtimed. ))

KR is about to answer DC, but then Decker comes in! And then she mentions living here together. And KR's eyes flick away guiltily.

He sighs, and he seems to be at ease. That's...terrible. I could...you know, I could...try to fix it, I mean, reverse it, with surgery.

Quinn smiles gratefully, but shakes her head. Thanks, but we tried. It's magical, and pure positive energy didn't fix it. I'm adapting well, though, especially with Herbert here to guide me around.

Decker'sThe new person's/being's voice gets noticed, and she turns torwards herit with a raised eyebrow.

DC blinks a couple times as Decker comes in suddenly and he perceives that there's another conversation going on here.

But he doesn't say anything.

To reuse a perfectly good description...

A young woman, perhaps a bit on the short side, is standing at the door. While she is also on the extremely attractive side, her feature that stands out the most would be a pair of rust colored fox ears that poke through her fiery red hair. After the ears come the eyes, in her case a solid dark orange iris with vertical black slits for pupils. Of course, these are noticeable just in their strangeness; the rest of her figure, while common issue for a female humanoid, seems to be pleasantly upgraded. Perhaps not as beautiful as the Nymph Irene, there is certainly something Fey in the woman's striking features and curious smile.

Pinging the alignment detector as CN, she eyes the drone warily. Hi, if this is the Good League of Good, I'm supposed to join or something...

That's a shame. I assume it's not a curse...it's not a curse, right? He says, removing the icepack. And, that wraps up Doctor Marcos's healing session for the day. You can buy my DVD in the lobby. He smiles, but realizes she can't see it. So, what do you do for fun here?

No, it's not a curse. It's just...what nymphs do. She chuckles a little at him and smiles. For fun? Well...there's the pool, the television, the library, and that's just what I know about.

[Falgorn]

Marcos smiles. Well, contact me if you need anything. I think I might stay here. This place needs a doctor...excuse me for a moment. He goes to the door to great the newcomer, and his jaw drops. Literally. He begins jabbering nonsense in Portruguese. When he finally clears his head, he stammers a: ...Hello...

Back in the infirmary, DC finally speaks up, looking at KR.

The girl takes both the form and the cake, and then hands the cake to Marcos to free up her hand so as to fill out the form.
