Kara's gencon costume II

So, Kara's almost for sure coming to gencon this year! Woot! Finally, it's been a while since I've been and I'm very excited.

I'm still trying to figure out the costume situation though. A recent development has put a lot of money into the hands of myself and the friend who I am going to cosplay with, so a few doors have opened up. Just wanted to hear some feedback on some ideas.

I've always wanted to do some kind of Sailor Moon cosplay, I've loved the show since I was probably about ten. So Bababoobs (my friend's semi-official nickname) and I were considering each getting a scout costume.

We also found a site that had a Morgan costume for sale (Morgan the succubus from darkstalkers) and we are now considering Morgan and Lilith as options if we can find a site that we can commish a Lilith costume from.

Haruhi is still on the table, because we both know the dance and I kinda' act like Haruhi as it is.

Otherwise I still have my selkie costume from Acen.

Another option I was considering was some kind of pokemon thing. Getting ear/tail sets and some cute outfits to wear as a few pokemon... Though pikachu is kind of overdone.

So... anyway. I'm mostly just really excited to be going again! Any updates with anyone else? Anyone know if they can make it or if they will be cosplaying at all?

I was in the same position for quite a while, the only reason I can go this year is the fact that I have a nice job now that pays me good monnies and friends to split a hotel room with.

My all time favourite artist is going to be there. I'm actually sorta friends with her, so that would me we could meet and hang out.

Plus, I've almost got my Allen Walker costume done.
Well, if Halo ever gets to making the coat for me. ><

See, my issue is more that getting time off from my job may be difficult. That, and I can't really travel anywhere without my gf, who refuses to use her vacation time for anything she hasn't pre-approved. She's quite the buzz-kill like that.
